  • Publication number: 20210053683
Abstract: A vertical-tailless aircraft includes a body, a main wing, and a negative pressure generating portion. The body extends in a direction along an aircraft axis and includes a front body and a rear body. The main wing is provided on a side surface of the body. The negative pressure generating portion is provided at the rear body and is configured to generate negative pressure on the side surface of the rear body in a case that the vertical-tailless aircraft sideslips.

  • Patent number: 5525131
Abstract: The present invention relates to coated seeds. The coated seed according to the invention is a seed coated with a coating mass composition comprising 70 to 95 parts by weight of a clay mineral of double-chain structure and 30 to 5 parts by weight of a hydrophobic compound. The coated seed provided by the invention has a coating layer of adequate hardness and yet insures good germination characteristics, thus being contributory to the rationalization and development of agricultural production.

  • Patent number: 5175025
Abstract: Sizing agent for carbonizable fiber contains a high molecular compound having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 10,000 as obtainable by reacting (A) a polyalkylene oxide compound having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 100 as obtainable by addition-polymerizing an ethylene oxide-containing alkylene oxide with an organic compound containing two active hydrogen groups with (B) a polycarboxylic acid or the corresponding anhydride or lower alkyl ester or a diisocyanate. The sizing agent not only inhibits napping and binds fiber but, because of its good thermal decomposition behavior, does not cause glueing of fiber so that a substantial upgrading of carbon fiber is achieved without detracting from its strength. Furthermore, as the sizing agent does not become a tar, deposits within the carbonizing furnace are minimized and the trouble of furnace obstruction prevented.
