  • Publication number: 20140016900
Abstract: A ferrule includes a flange that projects outward in the diameter direction of the ferrule, and a shaft portion that extends from the flange, away from the tip of the ferrule along the axial direction of the ferrule. A male-side connector includes a coil spring that is fitted around the shaft portion and biases a ferrule forward in the mating direction of the male connector, and a spring receiving portion that holds the coil spring from behind in the mating direction of the male connector. The cross-sectional shape of the shaft portion is a regular polygonal shape according to which vertices of the cross section of the shaft portion come into contact with the inner periphery of the coil spring.
