  • Patent number: 11940485
Abstract: In an inspection apparatus for inspecting an inspection target device formed on an inspection object, the inspection target device is a back-illuminated imaging device into which light is incident from a rear surface opposite to a side of a wiring layer. The inspection apparatus includes a stage having the inspection object placed such that the inspection object faces the rear surface. The stage includes a light transmitter made of a light-transmissive material. The inspection object is placed on the light transmitter below which a light illuminator is disposed. The light illuminator includes a flat light guide plate having a facing surface facing the inspection object. A light source is provided laterally outside the light guide plate configured to diffuse light emitted from the light source incident from a side end surface of the light guide plate, and to emit the light as planar light from the facing surface.

  • Patent number: 11760338
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus to be applied to a hybrid vehicle includes a continuously variable transmission, a clutch mechanism, and a travel processor. The continuously variable transmission is coupled to an engine and a first motor via an input passage, and coupled to drive wheels via an output passage. The clutch mechanism is provided on the output passage. When the travel mode is switched from a first mode in which the clutch mechanism is engaged to the second mode in which the clutch mechanism is released, the travel processor releases the clutch mechanism and stops the continuously variable transmission while maintaining a speed ratio of the continuously variable transmission. When the travel mode is switched from the second mode to the first mode, the travel processor synchronizes rotation speeds of input-side and output-side portions of the clutch mechanism by controlling the continuously variable transmission, and engages the clutch mechanism.

  • Patent number: 11607953
Abstract: A vehicle control system to be mounted in a hybrid electric vehicle includes an engine, a center differential that includes a front-wheel-side output portion and a rear-wheel-side output portion and distributes torque outputted from the engine to a front wheel and a rear wheel, a limited slip differential mechanism that limits a differential between the front-wheel-side output portion and the rear-wheel-side output portion, and a motor disposed in a drive-power transferring system that transfers drive power from the rear-wheel-side output portion to the rear wheel. The vehicle control system includes a processor. When the hybrid electric vehicle is switched from a first traveling mode to a second traveling mode, the processor stops the engine while causing the limited slip differential mechanism to limit the differential between the front-wheel-side output portion and the rear-wheel-side output portion.

  • Patent number: 8175048
Abstract: A multi-hop wireless communication system which synchronizes a time signal generated by a timer device included in each of the wireless terminals and sets a different active timing to a wireless terminal connected to each of a plurality of multi-hop routes. The wireless terminal monitors the time signal of the timer device included in the wireless terminal and activates wireless communication of the wireless terminal when it is detected that the time signal matches an active timing set in the wireless terminal.

  • Patent number: 7577434
Abstract: A handover method is to provided by which a station can move between access points with interruption in communication minimized. An access point assigns mobile stations existing in its own wireless network to identification codes, different from station to station, to thereby carry out association, and thereafter transmits beacon frames each containing a different identification code to the mobile stations. The identification codes are allocated beforehand specifically to each of the access points included in the wireless LAN. When the station is handed over to an adjacent access point, the adjacent access point transmits beacon frames containing the corresponding identification code to that station. Thus, the station is able to continue communication without recognizing the transfer from one wireless network to another.

  • Patent number: 7515527
Abstract: An SDH transmission apparatus including a low-speed part, a high-speed part, and a cross-connect part is disclosed. The low speed part includes a first signal transmission part and a second signal transmission part, each signal transmission part including an active transmission part and a standby transmission part. In the SDH transmission apparatus, an active transmission part of the first signal transmission part transmits a signal to a first transmission line via the high-speed part, an active transmission part of the second signal transmission part transmits a signal to a second transmission line via the high-speed part, and a standby transmission part of the first signal transmission part sends a part of signals supplied to the first signal transmission part to the second transmission line via the high-speed part when a traffic amount of the signals supplied to the first signal transmission part exceed a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20080288852
Abstract: A multicarrier wireless communication system is capable of switching the modulation scheme used by each carrier during communication. This communication system includes error detectors for detecting error bits separately for respective carriers by comparing the data block of each carrier before and after correction. The modulation scheme used by a particular carrier is switched to an appropriate modulation scheme, when the S/N ratio of the particular carrier is deteriorated or improved, on the basis of the information about the corrected error bits.

  • Patent number: 7356335
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus coordinates communication among a set of mobile stations by giving the mobile stations permission to transmit packets. The mobile stations divide comparatively long packets into shorter fragment packets. When the wireless communication apparatus receives a fragment packet with an indication that the station that transmitted the fragment packet has another fragment packet to transmit, the wireless communication apparatus gives the mobile station permission to transmit the next packet. The mobile station can accordingly transmit its fragment packets in continuous succession, avoiding a defragmentation timeout at the receiving end.
