  • Patent number: 10938368
Abstract: A piezoelectric resonator unit that includes a piezoelectric resonator; a substrate that includes a mounting surface, an electrode pattern on the mounting surface; and a cap joined to the mounting surface of the substrate by a joining material such that the piezoelectric resonator is hermetically sealed. The electrode pattern includes a connection electrode to which the piezoelectric resonator is connected, and an extended electrode that is extended from the connection electrode towards an outer edge of the mounting surface. A joining region on the mounting surface is provided over an entire periphery and surrounds the connection electrode. An insulating material is in the joining region such that at least part of the electrode pattern is exposed therefrom.

  • Patent number: 10742188
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a piezoelectric resonator unit that includes mounting a piezoelectric resonator on a base member using a conductive adhesive, keeping the piezoelectric resonator in an environment having a temperature and a humidity higher than those of a surrounding region for a predetermined time, performing frequency adjustment of the piezoelectric resonator by etching using an ion beam, and joining a lid member to the base member using a joining material such that the piezoelectric resonator is hermetically sealed between the lid member and the base member.

  • Patent number: 4802529
Abstract: A heating apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle having a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, and a refrigerant-heating unit. The unit includes a heat exchanger section through which a refrigerant flows, a burner, and a guide duct for guiding a combustion gas produced by the combustion of the burner so as to heat the refrigerant flowing through the heat exchanger section. A combustion rate of the burner is controlled in accordance with the difference between a room temperature and a preset temperature. When the combustion rate is within a specified range, it is shifted, in accordance with the temperature of the refrigerant flowing into the heat exchanger section, so as to prevent the condensation of water vapor in the combustion gas flowing through the guide duct.

  • Patent number: 4642046
Abstract: A pulse combustor has a main body in which a cylindrical mixing chamber and a combustion chamber are formed. An air inlet port and a fuel inlet port are formed in the body to open into the mixing chamber. These inlet ports are located on the same circumference of the inner periphery of the mixing chamber and spaced from each other. An air supply pipe for introducing air into the mixing chamber is connected at one end to the air inlet port, and a fuel supply pipe for introducing fuel gas into the mixing chamber is connected at one end to the fuel inlet port. The air supply pipe extends in a predetermined direction so as to cause the air introduced into the mixing chamber to flow while rotating in one direction along the inner periphery of the mixing chamber. The fuel supply pipe extends in a predetermined direction to cause the fuel to be introduced into the mixing chamber along a direction opposite the direction in which the air rotates.

  • Patent number: 4368032
Abstract: A liquid fuel combustion apparatus comprises a combustion cylinder, a fuel reservoir, a housing, a blower and an electrical ignition heater. The reservoir is disposed inside the cylinder to store a liquid fuel supplied from outside of the cylinder. The housing is disposed outside the cylinder to create a space therebetween and has an end wall opposite to an end wall of the cylinder. The blower is disposed outside, and in a spaced apart relation to, the housing and supply air to the space. The heater is supported by the end walls and ignite liquid fuel stored in the reservoir.
