  • Patent number: 7640557
Abstract: A housing for an on-vehicle electronic apparatus includes a housing body, and a front panel assembly detachably attached to the front surface of the housing body. A recording medium insertion slit is provided in an upper portion of the front surface of the housing body. When a finger is put on the portion of an upper panel portion and the upper panel portion is pushed downwards, an upper member is moved downwards, and a lower member is swung to the front side about an axis according to the vertical movement of the upper member. When the upper panel portion reaches a lower position and a lower panel portion reaches a slant position, the spacing between an opening and an upper wall of the upper panel portion is enlarged, and the recording medium insertion slit is opened, resulting in the condition where a recording medium can be inserted or removed.

  • Patent number: 5956300
Abstract: A disc player is provided, in which an arbitrary disc is pulled out from a disc compartment in which a plurality of discs are stacked and then reproduced. An elevator chassis (4) having a disc transport mechanism and a disc chucking mechanism mounted thereon is coupled at three of its four sides to a main chassis (1) provided as a reference plane by an X-letter type supporting member of a pantograph configuration which can be freely contracted and expanded, and an elevating drive mechanism is connected to one place of on the elevator chassis (4). The elevator chassis (4) is elevated in parallel to the main chassis (1) by driving the elevator chassis at only one place. Further, the elevator chassis (4) is locked to the main chassis (1) by a locking mechanism during the playback of the disc.

  • Patent number: 5008766
Abstract: This invention is relative with a tape cassette attachment device applied to a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus, such as a cassette tape recorder, wherein a cassette holder into which is inserted and held a tape cassette having a closure plate mounted to the bottom surface of the cassette half for movement between the position of closing the reel drive shaft insertion openings formed in the bottom surface of the cassette half rotatably accommodating a pair of tape reels carrying a magnetic tape and the position of opening the reel drive shaft insertion openings is shifted horizontally and vertically for attaching the tape cassette at a predetermined tape cassette attachment position in the main body of the apparatus. The tape cassette enables the shifting operation of the cassette holder to effect tape cassette attachment only when the tape cassette is correctly inserted and held with respect to the cassette holder.
