  • Patent number: 6593529
Abstract: A grommet for installing a wire harness into a penetration hole provided on a car body panel of an automobile. The grommet includes a resin inner sleeve that is firmly stored in an enlarged tubular portion of a grommet main body made of an elastomer. The grommet main body includes the enlarged tubular portion at one end of a small diameter tubular portion through which electric wires can be inserted. A fixation locking hook protrudes from a peripheral wall of the inner sleeve and projects past an edge opening of the enlarged tubular portion. A movable locking hook is arranged on another side of the peripheral wall. The movable locking hook includes a movable piece that is located between two side grooves formed in the peripheral wall. A pair of rectifying ribs protrudes past the movable locking hook. Each rectifying rib has an edge portion that is formed at an acute angle and that is inclined towards an inside.

  • Patent number: 6541703
Abstract: A grommet is provided with a circumferential channel around its outer surface serving to hold an automobile body panel, thereby forming a circumferential channel base and first and second channel walls extending outwardly therefrom. The circumferential channel also forms corresponding first and second circumferential edges at respective outermost portions of the first and second channel walls. Further, the first circumferential edge extends farther outwardly than the second circumferential edge in a radial direction of the grommet, and has a flat edge in the same direction so as to hold the car's body panel. The first and second walls become closer as they extend from the channel base, such that the first circumferential edge overlaps the second circumferential edge in a longitudinal direction of the grommet.

  • Publication number: 20030052992
Abstract: A flash device is provided which causes a plurality of light emitting elements to emit desired white strobe light independent of possible uneven brightnesses of light being emitted by light emitting used. Red, green and blue light emitting elements are driven to emit corresponding colored rays of light to thereby provide white strobe light. Percentages of respective total light emission times of the light emitting elements are determined depending on the percentage data of light being emitted by those light emitting elements and stored in memory.

  • Publication number: 20010018343
Abstract: An FM broadcasting station (5) broadcasts paging ID by multiplexing it on FM broadcasting radio waves in a subframe period assigned in advance to an FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged, and broadcasts, as program data, message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged. The FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) repeatedly and intermittently receives the paging ID broadcasted from the FM broadcasting station (5), in the subframe period assigned to itself in advance. When the received paging ID is its paging ID, the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) generates an alarm. Thereafter, a user selects a program on which the message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged is broadcasted, and views the message data which is the program data displayed, thereby obtaining the message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d).

  • Patent number: 6019618
Abstract: An upper face of a female connector housing 10 has arc-shaped ribs 15 to support contact members 25 of a pivotable lever 20. If the operating force applied to the lever 20 is large the tendency for the lever 20 to bend towards the connector housing 10 is resisted. Engagement of cam tracks 24 with protrusions of a corresponding connector housing is thereby assured.

  • Patent number: 5997321
Abstract: The posterior end of a connector housing 11 has contact supporting members 17 formed thereon, their posterior faces forming arc-shaped guiding faces 17a formed so as to correspond to the path of a bendable lock 23 provided on a pivoting operating member 22. When the lever 20 is latched, the bending of the operating member 22 is prevented due to the guiding faces 17a. As a result there is no possibility of the operating member 22 bending due to an unintentional external force, and thereby releasing the lock 23.

  • Patent number: 5930690
Abstract: Upon receiving an FM multiplex broadcasting wave carrying audible information and supplemental visible information, an FM radio receiver equipped with a display unit audibly outputs the audible information and displays the supplemental visible information on the display unit. When the FM radio receiver receives the supplemental visible information while the receiver is not in a reproduction mode, the received supplemental visible information is stored in a reproduction buffer. When the FM radio receiver is set to the reproduction mode, the supplemental visible information stored in the reproduction buffer is displayed on the display unit.

  • Patent number: 5928010
Abstract: In a latching member of a molded component, a facing face (19A) of a release member (19) located at an anterior end of a resilient latching member (17) is made parallel to a stopping face (18B) of a protrusion (18). By doing this, the moulding of the stopping face (18B) is carried out by a mould part (20C) whose mould opening direction is parallel to the stopping face (18B) and the facing face (19A), thus obviating the need to leave a mould removing hole in the release member (19).

  • Patent number: 5918413
Abstract: The present invention is characterized by coating a seed with from 0.1 to 25% by weight of a powder (A) composed of one or both of montmorillonite and bentonite and having an average particle diameter of 30 .mu.m or less and from 99.9 to 75% by weight of a powder (B) composed of a material other than montmorillonite and bentonite and having an average particle diameter of at least 10 .mu.m and at most 30 .mu.m using a polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution having an aqueous solution viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 50 mPa.multidot.s or less as a binder. Consequently, a coated seed obtained by coating a seed, especially a light-favoured seed, easily absorbs water in sowing and is easily cracked in absorbing water. Further, the easy cracking thereof remains unchanged with the course of time. In the coating, formation of by-product seedless spherical pellets is little observed.

  • Patent number: 5851128
Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a housing, a terminal mounted within a cavity in the housing, and play-eliminating means for substantially preventing movement of the terminal within the cavity in a direction other than that along which the terminal is inserted into the cavity. The terminal is constituted by a connector member for electrical connection to a complementary terminal, and a wire-connection member for connection to an electrical wire. The wire-connection member has a smaller transverse cross-section than the connector member. The play-eliminating means is constituted by support means positioned in space between the outer periphery of the wire-connection member and the inner periphery of the cavity.
