  • Publication number: 20230169866
Abstract: A road stud includes a terminal storage unit, a light emission unit, a moving body detection unit, a radio communication unit, and a terminal control unit. The terminal storage unit stores preset unique fixed position information. The light emission unit emits a preset light to the surroundings. The moving body detection unit generates a detection signal indicating that a nearby moving body has been detected. The radio communication unit receives, based on fixed position information, an instruction signal for an operation of the light emission unit from a predetermined control system and transmits a detection signal to the control system. The terminal control unit controls a light emission unit based on the instruction signal.

  • Publication number: 20230167615
Abstract: In a road stud system, a road stud includes a terminal storage unit, a light emission unit, and a radio communication unit. The light emission unit emits a light having a first color tone or a second color tone in a first or second direction. The radio communication unit receives an instruction signal for an operation of the light emission unit. A control system that controls a plurality of road studs includes a determination unit and an instruction unit. The determination unit determines whether an overlapping area is in a first state in which passage of a pedestrian is prioritized or a second state in which passage of an automobile is prioritized. The instruction unit sends an instruction signal, in accordance with the result of the determination, regarding the direction of the light emission and the color tone to each of the road studs.

  • Patent number: 9157005
Abstract: The method of foaming and applying a sealing material is characterized by comprising the steps of hot-melting the sealing material; mixing nitrogen gas into the melted sealing material under a predefined pressurization; discharging the resultant mixture at a predefined pressure into the air to thus foam the mixture and simultaneously apply it to a place necessary to seal, thus making a sealing foam; and curing this sealing foam by ultraviolet rays. By this method, the sealing material does not involve flowing after applied, and shows an excellent sealing performance even under severe heat resistance conditions, and also can make good independent cells inside even when used in a foamed condition.
