  • Patent number: 7693404
Abstract: A first holder is disposed to move in a direction of a first optical axis of a refractive optical system in which object light incident from a front thereof along the first optical axis is reflected by a prism in a direction along a second optical axis extending vertically to form an image on a CCD solid-state image-pickup element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 18, 2006
Date of Patent: April 6, 2010
    Assignee: FUJIFILM Corporation
    Inventor: Hiroyuki Otaka
  • Patent number: 7405888
Abstract: An image taking apparatus is provided with a lens driving unit that includes a magnetic shaft in which the S pole and the N pole are alternately aligned in a longitudinal direction of the shaft. The lens driving unit also includes a first lens holding frame that holds a first lens and has a first coil, and a second lens holding frame that holds a second lens and has a second coil. The magnetic shaft is inserted in the first and second coils, so that each of the first and second coils form a linear motor in cooperation with the magnetic shaft.

  • Patent number: 7321375
Abstract: In a color thermal printer, a thermal head has an array of heating elements, arranged in a main scan direction, for thermal recording to respectively pixels on thermosensitive recording material. The recording material is moved relative to the thermal head in a sub scan direction crosswise to the main scan direction, to record an image to the recording material according to image data. The recording material includes two lateral edges, opposed to each other, for extending in the sub scan direction. In the thermal printer, the image is recorded in a region extending to the two lateral edges on the recording material according to the image data. Density of two edge portions of the image disposed along the two lateral edges are lowered by processing the image data, to prevent occurrence of scorch on the two lateral edges.

  • Patent number: 7206145
Abstract: A circumferential surface of a lens holder is provided with a reflection member having different reflectance relative to a surrounding portion thereof. An opening is formed in an upper cover at a position confronting the reflection member at a time when the lens holder is kept in an original position being as a close-end position. The upper cover is provided with an optical position detector disposed so as to be adjacent to the opening. The optical position detector optically detects the reflection member via the opening when the lens holder is kept in the original position. Consequently, an original position of a taking lens held by the lens holder is detected.
