  • Publication number: 20130169405
Abstract: Provided is a technique to secure compositional or microstructural uniformity of a ceramic sintered body while increasing the area of the ceramic sintered boy, thus improving basic performance including non-linearity, maximum withstand energy and aging characteristics. A plurality of small varistor pieces 11 and insulating resin are kneaded and extruded for shaping, whereby a sheet-form varistor layer 13 can be formed where a plurality of small varistor pieces 11 are spaced from one another and are aligned on the same plane, and the adjacent small varistor pieces 11 are bonded via insulating resin.

  • Publication number: 20110313628
Abstract: An ECT torque controlling system sets a torque demand amount. The torque demand amount set by the ECT torque controlling system is converted by a converter of a power train manager into a torque demand amount changing with a delay relative to the set torque demand amount. A selector of the power train manager switches between a state of converting the set torque demand amount into the torque demand amount changing with the delay relative to the set target value and a non-conversion state. An engine controlling system controls an engine so as to achieve the torque demand amount.

  • Patent number: 7850806
Abstract: A waterproof method for a wire end joint includes expanding a heat shrinkable tube radially outwardly. The method then includes inserting the wire end joint and a melted thermosetting waterproofing agent through an opening at an end of the waterproof protection tube. A solidification starting temperature of the waterproofing agent is set higher than a shrinkage starting temperature of the heat shrinkable tube. The method then applies heating so that the heat shrinkable tube shrinks to the original diameter and so that the waterproofing agent is not solidified. The heating is continued to the solidification starting temperature after the heat shrinkable tube is shrunk to a set inner diameter, thereby causing the thermosetting waterproofing agent to be solidified.

  • Patent number: 7572979
Abstract: A waterproof structure and a waterproof method for a wire connecting part, wherein the insulating coatings of a plurality of wires are peeled, and exposed cores are connected to each other by welding, soldering, or through a crimp style terminal. A foam sheet impregnated with a silicone and an adhesive tape are wrapped around the connecting part, and the silicone is filled in clearances between the connected cores.

  • Patent number: 6696646
Abstract: A construction for preventing water from penetrating between electric wires (W) inserted into an electric wire insertion portion (10c) of a grommet (10) has a foamed sheet (11) with independent cells. The foamed sheet (11) has an adhesive layer (11b) formed on its upper surface and an adhesive layer (11c) formed on its lower surface. A plurality of the electric wires (W) are disposed parallel with one another at required intervals on the foamed sheet (11). The electric wires are positioned in a region whose area is approximately half of the total area of the adhesive layer (11b) formed on the upper surface of the foamed sheet (11). The foamed sheet (11) is folded upon itself to sandwich the electric wires (W) between the adhesive layer (11b) formed on the upper surface. Thereafter the folded foamed sheet (11) is rolled to dispose the plurality of the electric wires (W) at required intervals in the foamed sheet. The adhesive layer formed on the lower surface of the foamed sheet is bonded to itself.

  • Patent number: 4557154
Abstract: A shock absorbing mechanism, comprising a slip clutch, is interposed between drive sources and a body carrying optical and dispensing means in an automatic analyzing and measuring apparatus which repeatedly moves and stops said body in a plane to dispense reagents and samples at specified positions in the plane and to optically scan changes in the samples after reacting with the reagents.

  • Patent number: 4495149
Abstract: Disclosed is an analyzing apparatus for applying samples and reagents to the surface of a reaction carrier and for optically analyzing each component contained in the various samples. The dispensing of the samples and reagents and the optical detection operation are performed by an optics/dispensing mechanism moved relative to the reaction carrier in two dimensions. The optics/dispensing mechanism is combined with a cleaning apparatus for cleansing reagents and samples from a dispensing needle by means of a rinsing agent and air ejected toward the needle. The apparatus further includes an automatic lifting mechanism for lifting and replacing a cover disposed on the reaction carrier, and is adapted to move the dispensing needle to a position over a nearby reagent/sample holder so that the needle may take up a desired reagent or sample from the holder and transfer it to the surface of the reaction carrier.
