  • Patent number: 10210629
Abstract: A detection area is set in a three-dimensional space in which a subject exists. When an actual hand enters the detection area, coordinate points (white and black dots) represented by pixels making up a silhouette of the hand in a depth image enter the detection area. In the detection area, a reference vector is set that shows the direction which the hand should face relative to the shoulder as a reference point. Then, an inner product between two vectors, a vector from the reference point to each of coordinate points and the reference vector, is calculated, followed by comparison between the inner products. Positions of coordinate points whose inner products are ranked high are acquired as the position of tips of the hand.

  • Patent number: 10175765
Abstract: An information processing device that detects the position of a subject shot by a camera in a three-dimensional space is provided. The information processing device includes a depth image acquiring section that acquires a depth image in which the distance of a subject in the depth direction from the camera is represented as a pixel value on an image plane, a spatial structure identifying section that identifies the position of a plane forming a predetermined angle with a gravity vector among subject surfaces by detecting a coordinate point collection representing the plane on the basis of the distribution of coordinate points obtained by inverse projection of pixels of the depth image to the three-dimensional space based on the direction of the gravity vector, and a target object extracting section that generates and outputs position information of a predetermined target object on the basis of the position of the plane.

  • Patent number: 10070014
Abstract: A white-plate graphic erosion process is performed on print data subjected to a RIP process in the following procedure. First, an erosion candidate region which is a candidate for a region in which a white-plate graphic is eroded is determined. Then, a region to be applied with an ink of a color other than white is determined. Then, an application target region is determined. Then, a region other than a region obtained by an erosion process out of the application target region is determined to be an erosion allowed region. Then, a region included in the colored region and the erosion allowed region out of the erosion candidate region is determined to be an erosion target region. Finally, the values of data of pixels included in the erosion target region among white-plate data are rewritten such that the amount of white ink applied to the pixels is reduced.

  • Patent number: 10068159
Abstract: A black figure specification part of a data processing apparatus specifies a black figure from among a plurality of figures in original image data that represents each figure in a vector format. When the overprint attribute of the black figure is ON, a data processing part adds a new black figure whose overprint attribute is OFF and that indicates a figure central portion of the black figure excluding an outer edge portion of a predetermined width from the edge, to the original image data. When the black figure overlaps with another figure that includes a color other than black, the density of the other color in the area where the figure central portion and the other figure overlap each other is zero in raster data for image recording. This increases the darkness of color of the black figure and reduces the appearance of white streaks around the black figure.

  • Patent number: 10055815
Abstract: An imaging apparatus 12 acquires RAW images 202a and 202b by left and right cameras and performs a demosaicing process for and stepwise reduction of the RAW images 202a and 202b to generate and correct colored image groups 204a and 204b which represent picked up images with a plurality of resolutions (S10 and S12). Image process parameters 206 acquired in the course of the demosaicing process and the correction process are transmitted to a host terminal 20 together with part of colored images and data of a partial image 208 of the RAW image 202a. The host terminal 20 utilizes the image process parameters 206 transmitted from the imaging apparatus 12 to perform a demosaicing process for the partial image 208 to generate and correct a colored image 212 (S16). The host terminal 20 utilizes the colored image transmitted from the imaging apparatus 12 and the colored image 212 generated therein to generate an image 214 to be displayed (S18 and S20).

  • Patent number: 10043301
Abstract: A vector data processor includes a thinning part, a central line acquiring part, and a superimposing part. A target figure includes a linear figure. The thinning part processes target vector data to acquire thinned data by thinning the target figure indicated by the target vector data. The central line acquiring part processes the target vector data to acquire central line data that indicates a central line of the target figure. The superimposing part generates data that includes an instruction to record a combined figure obtained by superimposing the thinned figure and the central line one above the other. Superimposing the thinned figure and the central line enables the target figure to be thinned without line becoming broken. The shape of a rasterized figure can be approximated to the shape of a figure indicated by original data.
