Abstract: An external connection structure for an electric motor in which basic members are able to be commonly used in an electric fan motor for which either a lead wire or a direct coupler are prepared as an external connection member. Tip end portions of first and third conductor plates and the tip ends of the second and fourth conductor plates are caused to extend between respective brushes which are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the holder stay, and the tip end portions can be made visible through through-holes provided at the body portion of the end cover.
