Patent number: 7927043Abstract: A sleeve 10 for introduction of a pressurized fluid, which is attached to a rockbolt main body 1, comprises a cylindrical projecting part 11 of a large diameter and a bearing-plate-holding part 12 of a diameter smaller than an aperture of a bearing plate 6. The projecting part 11 and the bearing-plate-holding part 12 preferably has the same inner diameter. When the rockbolt main body 1 is embedded in a bedrock or ground, the bearing plate 6 locates on an edge of a rockbolt-setting hole of the bedrock or ground, and the bearing-plate-holding part 12 extends through the bearing plate 6 into the rockbolt-setting hole. Since the projecting part 11 and the bearing plate 6 are disposed on a sprayed concrete layer, a projection height of the rockbolt is remarkably decreased. Consequently, lining concrete 8 is applied onto the sprayed concrete layer with ease, and the bedrock or ground is reinforced with high reliability.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2004Date of Patent: April 19, 2011Assignee: Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tatsurou Iwasaki, Masahiro Nakata, Hiromichi Shiroma, Tetsuo Itou, Kenji Ooshima, Hiroyuki Tanase, Takefumi Nakako, Takeyuki Yoshida, Toshiharu Kittaka

Patent number: 7744290Abstract: The optical fiber connector includes a connector housing (21), having a splice assembly (13) therein, and an end cap (5) attached to one end of the connector housing (21), from which leads out a primary coating portion (3). A boundary (4c) between a portion of the primary coating portion (3), obtained by removing an outer coating (4b) of the inner cover (4) while leaving an inner coating (4a), and a portion obtained by leaving the outer coating (4b) of the inner cover (4), is located in the interior of the connector housing (21). The end cap (5) is provided in the interior thereof with a tubular portion and an extension extending from an end of the tubular portion, the tubular portion including an insert hole for an insertion of the primary coating portion (3) approximately coaxially with a guiding hole formed in the splice assembly accommodated in the connector housing (21) for guiding the primary coating portion (3) leading out from the splice assembly.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2006Date of Patent: June 29, 2010Assignees: 3M Innovative Properties Company, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone CorporationInventors: Akihiko Yazaki, Takaya Yamauchi, Tomoyasu Oike, Masanobu Toyonaga, Kuniaki Terakawa, Hiroyuki Tanase, Tatsuya Nakajima, Masashi Awamori

Patent number: 7341381Abstract: A cantilever type latch having the fixed end on the side of exposing the terminal end surface of the optical fiber is provided on the side of the plug housing. Near the center of the upper surface of the latch, an engaging projection which is to be engaged in the engaging hole formed in the adapter or the receptacle is formed. The engaging projection has the slope which decreases the height toward the fixed end side of the latch, in which the gradient of the slope is nearly equal to or greater than the rotation angle required for the elastic deformation of the latch with the fixed end functioned as the fulcrum. Thereby easy disconnecting of the latch is implemented.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2006Date of Patent: March 11, 2008Assignees: The Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd, Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corporation, Fujikura Ltd., Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Naoko Shimoji, Masato Shiino, Masanobu Toyonaga, Kuniaki Terakawa, Hiroyuki Tanase, Tatsuya Nakajima, Masashi Awamori, Kazuhiro Takizawa, Daigo Saitoh, Kenichiro Ohtsuka, Daizo Nishioka, Masahiro Hamada
