    Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat-insulating (adiabatic) cooking container which is ideal for use in cooking, wherein partially-cooked food or the like is thermally insulated with the finished cuisine being prepared thereafter, and, in particular, in which the opening-closing operation of the lid is easily accomplished. The heat-insulating cooking container of the present invention comprises a connecting portion connecting an outer container and a lid member which is equipped with a hinge axis axially supporting the lid member such that this lid member can be opened and closed with respect to the outer container, and a biasing member for biasing the lid member in an opening direction; and a stopping member for maintaining a state in which the lid member is closed.
