  • Publication number: 20080063589
Abstract: The subject invention provides a stable mass production method of carbon nano structure at low cost immune to variation of particle diameter of the catalyst microparticle in the catalyst material. The subject invention also provides a production device used for the method, and a new carbon nano structure having a conformation suitable for the mass production. The production method of carbon nano structure comprising fluidizing a material gas and catalyst microparticles in the reactor so that the material gas and the catalyst microparticles are brought into contact with each other, wherein said catalyst microparticles are suspended by the instantaneous spraying of the high-pressure gas, and then the suspension effect of the catalyst microparticles is stopped so that the catalyst microparticles naturally fall. The particle diameter of the catalyst microparticles is thus selected. With this arrangement, only the selected catalyst microparticles with the desired diameter are supplied to the reactor.

  • Publication number: 20070262742
Abstract: A servo device is provided which includes a drive source made of a brushless motor. A DC motor driving integrated circuit produces output signals and controls the output of a three-phase brushless motor driving integrated circuit to drive the brush less motor. A selection switching section detects information regarding the rotational speed of the brushless motor. The selection switching section extracts the counter electromotive voltage of the brushless motor, feeds the voltage back to the DC motor driving integrated circuit and PWM controls a drive signal output from the three-phase brushless motor driving integrated circuit. This allows the brushless motor to be easily applied to the servo device.

  • Publication number: 20070098622
Abstract: A method for synthesizing carbon nanocoils with high efficiency, by determining the structure of carbon nuclei that have been attached to the ends of carbon nanocoils and thus specifying a true catalyst for synthesizing carbon nanocoils is implemented. The catalyst for synthesizing carbon nanocoils according to the present invention is a carbide catalyst that contains at least elements (a transition metal element, In, C) or (a transition metal element, Sn, C), and in particular, it is preferable for the transition metal element to be Fe, Co or Ni. In addition to this carbide catalyst, a metal catalyst of (Fe, Al, Sn) and (Fe, Cr, Sn) are effective. From among these, catalysts such as Fe3InC0.5, Fe3InC0.5Snw and Fe3SnC are particularly preferable. The wire diameter and the coil diameter can be controlled by using a catalyst where any of these catalysts is carried by a porous carrier.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for treating radioactive laundry waste water generated from a nuclear power plant, nuclear fuel reprocessing plant, or radioactive nuclides handling facilities, and provides a method for treating the waste water safely and for reducing the volume of generated radioactive waste to a minimum.Radioactive laundry waste water containing a detergent of which major contents are a nonionic surface active agent and inorganic builders is concentrated by an evaporating concentrator, the concentrated waste water is dried and pulverized to dry powder by a rotary centrifugal thin film dryer, and the dry powder is incinerated. By using the above detergent, foaming at the concentration can be reduced, and the concentrated waste water can be easily dried and pulverized. Further, the dried powder can be incinerated stably and safely without influencing undesirable effect on the body of the incinerator.

  • Patent number: 5140165
Abstract: A vessel for solidifying radioactive waste pellets includes a vessel body, an inner lid mounted within the vessel body and fixedly secured to an upper portion of the vessel body, and a device for preventing the pellets from floating fixedly secured one end thereof to the inner lid. The inner lid has an opening formed at a generally central portion thereof, and the pellet float prevention device is extended into the opening of the inner lid to define gaps therebetween allowing the passage of a solidifying material in the state of a liquid or a slurry therethrough but preventing the passage of the radioctive waste pellets therethrough. The pellet prevention device, when receiving a downward urging force, is bent downward to enlarge the gaps therebetween for allowing the radioactive waste pellets to pass therethrough. The pellet float prevention device is returned by a resilient restoring force to its initial position when the downward urging force is released.
