  • Publication number: 20030024828
Abstract: There are provided a sterilizing method which can sterilize bacteria such as Legionella, chlorine resistant bacteria, spores and protozoa, which are bred in bathrooms and the like in particular, using bactericidal water having a high sterilizing effect, and which can avoid an accident, while using a chlorine agent, caused by generation of poisonous chlorine gas due to mixing with an acid agent, and further an electrolyzed water producing apparatus. The gist is to produce electrolyzed water containing hypohalogenous acid and active oxygen such as ozone by electrolyzing water to be electrolyzed, such as tap water, thereby to perform sterilization using the produced electrolyzed water.

  • Patent number: 6010344
Abstract: A motor driven ejection system responsive to control signals so as to allow the insertion and/or ejection of a card under computer automatic control. The ejection system has a motor responsive to control signals to cause forward/reverse movements of the motor or render the motor stationary, so that the insertion and the ejection of a card is completely dominated by a computer and not susceptible to any operator interaction that might otherwise damage or distort information on the card.

  • Patent number: 5879175
Abstract: A card (12) is inserted by pushing against a rubber roller (44) at the leading end of the card (12). The action of the rubber roller (44) pivots an actuation lever (24) to actuate a switch (36), which, in turn, starts a motor (16). The card (12) is moved inwardly by the rotation of the rubber roller (44) thereby pushing the card against support legs (62) causing a pinion (58) to engage with a rack (56) mounted on a card holder (48). The card holder (48) then holds the card (12) and is driven by the pinion (58) causing hook portions (84a, 84b) of pushing arms (72a, 72b) to engage the trailing edge (12b) of the card (12) thereby connecting the card (12) with contact pins (22) of an electrical connector (20) by pushing the card at its trailing edge.

  • Patent number: 5815468
Abstract: An automotive data device, such as an audio player, for playing recording media of a different size includes a housing member housing a first player unit and a second player unit in a stacked arrangement. Each of the player units have insertion slots. A movable operating panel for controlling the respective first player unit and the second player unit extends across the respective insertion slots. A control unit can drive the movable operating panel in a first mode of operation to expose only the first insertion slot, while maintaining the operability of user controls on the operating panel. The control unit provides a second mode of operation to expose both of the insertion slots, while retracting at least a portion of the operating panel into the housing member below the lower insertion slot.

  • Patent number: 4227224
Abstract: A cassette tape recording/reproducing apparatus which is so adapted that after a cassette is horizontally pushed deep into a pack guide, the pack guide is lowered in a vertical direction to set the cassette in a recording/reproducing position on a bottom plate of the apparatus, which apparatus is characterized in:that an ejecting plate and a slide plate are provided along the pack guide so as to slide in the forward and the backward direction of the apparatus, and a lock plate is provided for locking the ejecting plate and the slide plate in their retired positions, respectively, said lock plate being adapted to lock, at a time, either one of the ejecting plate and the slide plate, preventing the same from moving and allow the other to move forwardly or backwardly;that a power plate is provided also along the pack guide, which plate is movable in the forward and the backward direction of the apparatus, provided with a set spring for normally urging the power plate in the retreating direction, and engageable w

  • Patent number: 4224647
Abstract: A magnetic tape-record/playback apparatus having a mechanism for fast forward/rewind operation, which is formed of an ejecting lever and plate which are provided separately from each other but slidably connected with each other, a spring provided between said ejecting lever and a frame of the apparatus to urge said lever to its original position, a rotatable disc provided in association with said ejecting lever to effect a switching operation in relation with the fast forward/rewind operation and provided with a pin engageable with a slot formed on said ejecting lever, said slot having an enlarged portion with convergent edges for resetting said rotatable disc to its position for ejection, and an engaging member provided in relation with said rotatable member and adapted to be engaged with a stepped portion of said rotatable member to keep a head assembly of the apparatus in the fast forward/rewind mode.

  • Patent number: 4209812
Abstract: A tape player having two belts wound around a motor shaft, with one further wound around flywheels provided with capstans and another further wound around a reel shaft drive system, said flywheels and said reel shaft drive system being adapted to be separately rotated by the different belts, respectively.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates to a tape player art and more particularly to a tape player which can enjoy minimized wow and flutter as well as reduced thickness in construction. The reduction in thickness of a tape player will not only contribute to reduction of materials to be used for manufacturing of the tape player but also enable the tape player to be suitably installed with advantage in a limited space for a driver's seat in a car. In conventional mobile tape players, it is general that wow and flutter is caused principally by a load fluctuation in the tape drive system.
