  • Patent number: 8774476
Abstract: A system control unit causes a diagnosis monitor to display a plurality of sample images generated by changing one or more image processing parameters used in image processing of an X-ray image. When an operator designates a mixing ratio, at which the sample images are mixed, after the plurality of sample images are displayed on the diagnosis monitor, the system control unit sets one or more image processing parameters to be used when image processing of an X-ray image is performed based on the designated mixing ratio. An image processing unit performs image processing of an X-ray image input from an image input unit based on the set image processing parameter.

  • Patent number: 8761484
Abstract: A radiation image processing apparatus which processes non-spiral projection data obtained by radiation imaging performed by rotating a radiation generator and a two-dimensional radiation detector relative to a subject reconstructs the non-spiral projection data into first volume data subjected to an averaging process in a direction of a rotation axis of the rotation and second volume data not subjected to the averaging process. The radiation image processing apparatus performs planar reconstruction calculation using the first volume data to generate a cross section image in a first plane perpendicular to the direction of the rotation axis and performs planar reconstruction calculation using the second volume data to generate a cross section image in a second plane parallel to the direction of the rotation axis. The resulting cross section images are displayed on a display apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7787670
Abstract: To perform as high-accuracy as possible a correction for a body movement for reducing an artifact occurring in a case of creating a tomographic image from an X-ray projected image, the coordinates of the respective corresponding points are acquired as between the projected images of which the projected angles overlap each other (e.g., 0° and 360° ), and a geometric transformation parameter is acquired through affine transformation or the like by using the set of the acquired coordinates. When an estimated amount of the acquired parameter is equal to or larger than a predetermined amount, the geometric transformation parameter for geometric correction is determined by using the acquired geometric transformation parameter, the geometric transformation (correction of body movement) is executed by using the determined geometric transformation parameter, and the tomographic image is created by using the corrected projected images.

  • Patent number: 7486765
Abstract: To provide an image processing device and method capable of achieving a high-speed reconstruction process to a cone-beam CT image, an area necessary for reconstruction in a projection image is determined from a slice position to be reconstructed, and a convolution process is executed by using the determined area. Moreover, the slice position to be reconstructed is divided into plural blocks, the areas of the projection image corresponding thereto are cut out, and the processing unit is set for each block as local data of each block, and the set unit is allocated with respect to each operation, whereby parallel processes are executed.

  • Patent number: 7433515
Abstract: An image processing apparatus and method can perform gradation conversion of an image in which flatness of a pixel-value histogram of an image after gradation conversion is excellent, while using a specific gradation conversion function. A gradation conversion function represented using variables for specifying a gradation conversion characteristic is used. The values of the variables are determined based on flatness of a pixel-value histogram of an image obtained by converting an object image with the gradation conversion function. The object image is subjected to gradation conversion with the gradation conversion function determined by the determined values of the variables.
