  • Publication number: 20050144308
Abstract: A system that manages non-routine file transfer actions efficiently. An apparatus for managing file transfer actions performs the steps of accepting entry of a file to be made open or the file's attribute information that identifies one of the transfer actions of the file, creating new attribute information for the file to be made open not including the attribute information and adding the new attribute information to the file, updating the attribute information for the file to be made open including the attribute information, storing combination of the identifier of the file to be made open and the attribute information added to the file into a file transfer actions database. The attribute information comprises a unique ID to uniquely identify a file, a sub-ID to uniquely identify one of transfer actions of the file, and a parent sub-ID which is included in updated attribute information to indicate its parent.

  • Publication number: 20030233387
Abstract: A work-process status monitoring system for a task that is divided into multiple work processes that are shared enables the status of progress of each work process and the results of data transfer between the individual work processes to be grasped intuitively. The system comprises means for measuring the amount of work remaining in each work process, means for storing the measured amounts together with the measured time, and means for displaying the measured amounts of remaining work in each work process by way of chronological graphs separately or simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 6188388
Abstract: A pointer remotely points a display screen of a large screen display device. The display screen is picked up by a monitor camera. An image processing unit extracts a feature of the pointer used for pointing based on the resulting image signal to identify the position of the pointing point and the pointer based on the feature. A computer generates information on an object to be displayed at a position pointed by the pointer. The generated information is displayed on a display device (CRT display device or large screen display device) assigned to the pointer. Even when a plurality of pointers are used, the information on the object to be displayed pointed by the pointer is properly displayed.

  • Patent number: 5581242
Abstract: An alarm system in a plant for outputting a plurality of alarms with respect to devices constituting the plant and monitor information with respect to the devices. In the system, there is provided a unit for storing a table for correspondingly relating a plurality of alarm items to suppression reason items indicating that the display of the alarms can be suppressed. A generated alarm item and a generated event are specified by receiving the plurality of alarms and monitor information. A decision is made by reference to the table as to whether the generated alarm suppression reason item exists in the monitor information, the kind of generated alarm, and the generated event for each generated alarm item. An instruction is given to a display unit to suppress the display of alarms in which a decision is made that the suppression reason item exists.
