  • Patent number: 4561326
Abstract: A speed reducer device having a rotatably driven input shaft, a plurality of elongated planetary rollers disposed around the axis of the rotatably driven input shaft, a plurality of cylindrical output connection rings coaxial with the input shaft and within which the planetary rollers are positioned, and means to press the rotatably driven input shaft, the planetary rollers, and the cylindrical output connection rings together so that when the input shaft is rotated, the planetary rollers and the connection rings rotate without slipping. Each planetary roller is formed from first and second coaxial integral rollers which revolve and rotate within the space defined by the rotatably driven input shaft and the cylindrical output connection rings. The output connection rings comprise first and second output connection rings, wherein the first and second rollers rotate and revolve within the first and second output connection rings, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4475285
Abstract: An electric shaver has a housing which contains a motor. An inner blade support is mounted for rotation on the motor at one end of the housing, and an outer blade on the housing covers the inner blade support. Inner blades on the inner blade support revolve and are urged by springs against the outer blade, whereby hair extending through holes in the outer blade is cut by the inner blade. Openings through the inner blade support permit cut hair to drop therethrough, and the hair collects in a receptacle below the openings. Air flow caused by revolving the inner blade and other members on the inner blade support blows through the openings then near the receptacle to move hair from between the inner blade and the outer blade to the receptacle. The air flow then continues out of the housing through exhaust openings in the periphery of the outer blade.

  • Patent number: 4038749
Abstract: An electric dry shaver with an inner blade block including a parallel array of semiconductor shearing blades and reciprocally driven along inner surface of a flexible thin outer blade mounted substantially in a semicylindrical shape of an outer blade block by means of a vibrating device through a reciprocal driving shaft detachably and resiliently connected to a connecting means pivotably provided in the inner blade block substantially at the center of gravity thereof. The connecting means is pivoted to the inner blade block at an axis passing substantially the center of gravity and intersecting at right angles longitudinal axis of the semicylindrical outer blade in a plane perpendicular to a plane including reciprocal directions of the driving shaft and the connection of the driving shaft to the connecting means is performed at a position adjacent the pivoting axis of the latter.

  • Patent number: 4033034
Abstract: Electric dry shaver with reciprocally driven inner blade assembly high in uniform contact pressure distribution against outer blade foil accompanying less frictional heat. The inner blade assembly having parallelly spaced arcuate blades on an elongated semicylindrical frame is coupled substantially at both longitudinal ends of the frame to a connector likewise elongated which transmits to the assembly at the both ends a force urging it to the foil and reciprocal vibrating motion for shaving while the force and motion are given to the connector at its center, preventing arcuate bending of the inner blade assembly.

  • Patent number: 4031617
Abstract: An electric shaver having a trimmer wherein a base plate member is provided as fixed to shaver body between shaving and trimming elements and their driving power source allowing driving end of the source to pass therethrough. Stationary trimmer blade is fixed to the base plate member while slidably holding movable trimmer blade between them. Driving member coupled to the driving source end for reciprocally driving the movable trimmer blade and inner shaving blade assembly is supported on the base plate member slidably as thereby guided.
