    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electrical machine includes a rotor and an armature. The armature includes first to third stator cores, and an armature coil. The first and second stator cores are arranged along a direction of a rotation axis of the rotor. The third stator core is arranged opposite to the first and second stator cores. The armature coil is provided between the first and second stator cores. The first and second stator cores have a same shape and each include magnetic poles and a first positioning part. The third stator core includes a second positioning part. A relative phase angle of the first stator core and a relative phase angle of the second stator core in the rotation direction are set by using the first positioning part and the second positioning part.

    Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes a stator having a stator core, coil groups, and a rotor. The coil groups include a first coil group located at an outer circumference side of the stator core and a second coil group located at an inner circumference side of the stator core. The first and second coil groups are formed into an annular shape by inserting unit coils into stator core slots so that the coils adjacent in a circumferential direction overlap alternately in a radial direction and so that an inside and an outside of the overlap alternate with each other. The first coil group is disposed to surround an outside of the second coil group. The first and second coil groups are disposed in a concentric manner. The unit coils constituting the second coil group have shorter circumferential lengths than the unit coils constituting the first coil group.

    Abstract: A stator winding of a rotary electric machine includes windings for each pole of each phase being configured by a single layer lap wound coil. The single layer lap-wound coil includes combination coils each configured by two or more divided unit coils of the same phase being disposed one over the other in a radial direction inside slots of a stator core. The combination coils each comprise a first-row unit coil and a second-row unit coil disposed in a radially inner side of the stator core with respect to the first-row unit coil. A turns count of the first-row unit coil equals a turns count of the second-row unit coil. A count of lead wires of the first-row unit coil differs from a count of lead wires of the second-row unit coil.
