  • Publication number: 20160130172
Abstract: Provided is a method of scribing a tempered glass sheet, which involves forming a scribe line (S) for cutting a tempered glass sheet (G) with a scribing wheel (H) moving along a preset cutting line (CL) while pressing a front surface (Ga) of the tempered glass sheet (G), the method including: starting the forming of the scribe line (S) by causing the scribing wheel (H) to climb onto an edge portion (Ea), which is one of edge portions of the tempered glass sheet (G) positioned on one end side of the preset cutting line (CL); and finishing the forming of the scribe line (S) by moving the scribing wheel (H) to a position where a vicinity of an edge portion (Eb), which is another of the edge portions of the tempered glass sheet (G) positioned on another end side of the preset cutting line (CL), remains as an unscribed portion.

  • Publication number: 20160115068
Abstract: When forming a scribe line along a preset cutting line serving as a boundary between an effective surface portion and a non-effective surface portion, a preparatory scribe line to be smoothly joined to the preset cutting line while being curved from the non-effective surface portion to the preset cutting line is formed using a scribing wheel, and then the scribe line that continues from the preparatory scribe line is formed using the scribing wheel. Further, an auxiliary scribe line extending toward the scribe line with the non-effective surface portion being a starting end of the auxiliary scribe line, and having a terminal end prevented from being joined to the scribe line is formed with use of the scribing wheel.

  • Publication number: 20150284284
Abstract: A cleaving method for tempered glass includes forming a scribe line in the tempered glass from a front surface side of the tempered glass in a thickness direction along a preset cleaving line, followed by cleaving the tempered glass with the scribe line being set as a boundary. The tempered glass includes a front surface-side compressive stress layer formed on the front surface side and having compressive stress applied thereto, a back surface-side compressive stress layer formed on a back surface side of the tempered glass in the thickness direction and having compressive stress applied thereto, and an intermediate tensile stress layer formed between the front and back surface-side compressive stress layers and having tensile stress applied thereto. The forming of the scribe line includes increasing a thickness of the front surface-side compressive stress layer at least in the vicinity of the preset cleaving line.

  • Patent number: 8337202
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring a dental occlusion includes: a position sensor (30) for detecting a position and posture of a lower jaw (12) relative to an upper jaw (11) and; an arithmetic circuit (31) for computing a posture relative to a translation distance in a state of occlusal contact. The computation is derived from the position and posture of the lower jaw (12) relative to the upper jaw (11) detected by the position sensor (30). The apparatus also includes a display monitor (32) for displaying the posture relative to the translation distance computed by the arithmetic circuit (31).
