Abstract: A device management system includes a database and a request acceptance portion which accepts a connection request from a device. The connection request is a request for causing the request acceptance portion to execute access to the database. When the connection request is accepted from the device, the request acceptance portion sets a restriction rate according to a load amount of the database and selectively executes, by a ratio corresponding to the restriction rate, processing of permitting access to the database and processing of not permitting access to the database and notifying the device of an error.

Abstract: A door lock for an automotive vehicle includes a door lock striker fixedly secured to the vehicle body, a base provided on the vehicle door, a latch freely rotatably supported on the base by a pin and adapted to engage and disengage the striker, a silencer provided on the latch, and arcuate projections provided on the silencer and base and having the pin at the center thereof, the arcuate projections being brought into overlapping relation with each other so as to force the latch away from the base when the door is fully closed. Further, the latch is integrally molded to include a resilient projection at a portion where the striker and the latch engage each other, the projection being located near a position occupied by the striker when the door is fully closed, whereby a resilient press-fitted relation is established between the striker and the latch to eliminate abnormal sounds caused by looseness of the latch in the thickness direction thereof.

Abstract: A preload device for a harness is mounted fixedly to a motor vehicle seat and the harness is also fixed to the seat, so that relative relation between the harness and the seat is constant irrespective of longitudinal adjustment of the seat with respect to floor of motor vehicle.

Abstract: Seat adjusting mechanism providing a multiplicity of fore-and-aft adjustment positions of a vehicle adjustable seat in which an upper moving guide rail supporting the seat and a lower fixed guide rail comprise two vertical flanges per each rail, the flanges on the upper and lower rails firmly gripping each other thereby preventing the upper rail from being torn off from the lower rail. The mechanism further comprises an improved lock device associated with the flanges on the upper rail.
