  • Patent number: 6868843
Abstract: A blowby gas processing system includes a breather tube extended from a breather port of an engine and connected to a connecting tube. A breather tube inside which an intake passage connecting a carburetor and an air cleaner is formed and an expanded part provided with a gas-liquid separating chamber adjacent to the intake passage are provided. An entrance joint connecting a lower part of the gas-liquid separating chamber to the breather tube is integrated on one side of the connecting tube and a blowby gas exit communicating the upside of the gas-liquid separating chamber with the intake passage is provided in a partition between the gas-liquid separating chamber and the intake passage. The system is a low cost system having a simplified design enabling oil to be separated from blowby gas without having to include a special oil separator tank before the breather tube.

  • Patent number: 6840206
Abstract: An engine intake system including an air cleaner with an intake noise-damping box. The system is easily switchable from a noise-damping state to a non-noise-damping state when high output of the engine is regarded as important. The intake noise-damping box is attached to one side wall of an air cleaner. It is formed by a substantially rectangular air intake frame, the inside of which functions as an air intake open to the inside and the outside of the air cleaner. A passage former can be attached and detached to/from the air intake frame. When attached, the passage former forms an air passage extending in the longitudinal direction of the air intake frame, and communicating with the inside and the outside of the air intake frame at the air intake.

  • Publication number: 20020121111
Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a glass panel and the glass panel manufactured by the method, which makes it possible to minimize the projection amount from the glass sheet surface for improved appearance and for reduced possibility of breaking-up of the depressurized condition resulting from contact with an object and also to reliably seal the vent with a relatively easy step. A number of spacers (2) are disposed between a pair of glass sheets (1A, 1B). Outer peripheries of the glass sheets (1A, 1B) are sealed with an outer periphery sealing portion (3) to form a gap (V) between the glass sheets (1A, 1B). A vent (4) is formed in one (1A) of the glass sheets (1A, 1B) for evacuating gas from the gap (V). The gas in the gap (V) is evacuated via the vent (4) to depressurize the gap (V), and then the vent (4) is sealed. A metal solder (6) is employed as a sealing material for sealing the vent (4).
