Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to detect the absolute rotation angle of a rotor in a simple manner. In order to detect the rotation angle of a rotor of a stepping motor including a rotor and a stator winding, a first magnetic sensor (151) having a resolution of 200 steps per mechanical angle of 360 degrees detects the rotation angle of a rotor. An incremental encoder (60) outputs a plurality of types of signals periodically in accordance with the rotation angle of the rotor. A rotation angle acquirer (122) in a controller (102) acquires the absolute rotation angle of the rotor on the basis of the rotor rotation angle detected by the first magnetic sensor (151) and the type of signal output by the incremental encoder (60).
