The microneedle includes a base having a first surface on which a projection is formed and a second surface supported by a supporting portion of the housing. The base has an abutted portion on the first surface where the projection is not formed, and the cover has an abutment portion that faces the abutted portion, and a facing portion that faces the projection. A distance between the abutment portion and the facing portion is larger than that between the abutted portion and a distal end of the projection in a direction in which the projection extends. A distance between the abutment portion and the supporting portion is smaller than a sum of a distance between the abutted portion and the second surface and a distance between the abutted portion and the distal end.
