  • Patent number: 7325472
Abstract: A fixed cutter is provided on a top surface of an adsorption type carrying belt that carries a film. A cylindrical cutter holder having a rotary cutter is provided in the vicinity of the fixed cutter. The fixed cutter has nearly a triangular cross section, and includes an inclined surface that guides the film on the top surface of the belt to a blade edge and a flank relief having nearly a V-shaped cross section. A blade edge of the rotary cutter is disposed at an offset position. The film is cut by a relative operation of the blade edges while rotating the rotary cutter with respect to the fixed cutter. Both of the cutters are installed in a cutter unit, and are fixed to a frame part of a packaging machine while performing positional adjustment.

  • Publication number: 20060096430
Abstract: A fixed cutter (15) is provided on a top surface (8a) of an adsorption type carrying belt (8) that carries a film. A cylindrical cutter holder (33) having a rotary cutter (16) is provided in the vicinity of the fixed cutter. The fixed cutter (15) has nearly a triangular cross section, and includes an inclined surface (15a) that guides the film on the top surface (8a) of the belt (8) to a blade edge (23) and a flank relief (15b) having nearly a V-shaped cross section. A vibration preventing hook that restricts a deformation caused by the toughness of the blade edge (23) is pressed against the flank relief A blade edge (37) of the rotary cutter (16) is disposed at an offset position. The film is cut by a relative operation of the blade edges (23, 37) while rotating the rotary cutter with respect to the fixed cutter (15). Both of the cutters (15, 16) are installed in a cutter unit, and are fixed to a frame part of a packaging machine while performing positional adjustment.

  • Patent number: 4754593
Abstract: This disclosure relates to an improvement of a bag-making-and-filling packaging apparatus in which a web supplied from a roll of packaging material is formed into a tube through a tube-forming member and intermittently delivered and the formed tube is filled with a material to be packaged and when the filling is completed, the tube is sealed along the width thereof. The apparatus comprises an improved packaging material delivery device which is effective to assure durability of delivery means and to prevent damage to the packaging material for good packaging finish as well as to increase precision of delivery of the packaging material, and an improved registering device in which setting and adjusting operation of registering is facilitated and the structure associated with a register mark sensor is simplified.
