  • Patent number: 5929880
Abstract: A powder particle lumping recording apparatus low in cost and high in printing quality is disclosed. Toner 12 having a magnetic property contained in a toner container 21 is conveyed by a developing roller 11 constituting a magnet roller, and jumped under the effect of the electric field controlled by a control electrode formed on an FPC 22. The toner 12 is accelerated by the acceleration voltage for the conductive roller 15, attaches on a recording material inserted between the control electrode 13 and the conductive roller 15, and thus forms an image. The conductive roller 15 contains a magnet 16 therein. With the approach of the magnet 16 to the control electrode 13 by rotation of the conductive roller 15, the toner 12 can be attracted off. The toner 12 attached on the surface of the conductive roller 15 is mechanically removed by a cleaning blade 17 and accumulated in a housing 18. The conductive roller 15, the cleaning blade 17 and the housing 18 make up an easily-demountable cleaning unit 19.

  • Patent number: 5485244
Abstract: To attach or detach a process cartridge to or from a support member of an LED printer, an upper housing is angularly displaced and opened around a supporting position relative to a lower housing. As the upper housing is gradually opening relatively to the lower housing, the support member is angularly displaced around a connection position with the lower housing to be separated from the upper housing. Then, a used process cartridge can be detached from the support member and another new process cartridge can be attached thereto, thereby allowing such maintenance operation to be easily performed.

  • Patent number: 4729521
Abstract: A controller for winding an unvulcanized rubber sheet suitable for the formation of tires, transmitting belts and the like comprises a cylindrical drum rotated by a motor for winding the unvulcanized rubber sheet thereon, a conveyer for feeding the unvulcanized rubber sheet on the drum, a data processor for calculating a ratio of peripheral velocities of the drum and the feeding conveyer and a feeding quantity of the unvulcanized rubber sheet on the basis of previously inputted data and a sequence control unit responsive to an output of the data processor for controlling the sequence of operation of the movable portions of the controller, i.e. the sequence according to which each element of the controller for winding the unvulcanized rubber sheet and the motors are operated, which sequence is established according to a predetermined order.

  • Patent number: 4649780
Abstract: A cutting device for use in cutting a cylindrical material around a mandrel into annular bodies of the desired width. This device has a first moving table to move in the axial direction of the mandrel, a second moving table to move on the first moving table in the radial direction of the mandrel, a cutter support carrying a first cutter adjustable in position in the radial direction of the mandrel and/or a second cutter adjustable in the axial direction of the mandrel, and a control unit with a device for detecting the position of each moving table, a device for receiving output signals from the detecting device and comparing the position with position data set beforehand and a driving circuit to move each moving table according to output signals from the comparing device.
