  • Publication number: 20050042423
Abstract: To provide a production method which can realize easy production of an antiglare film an antiglare film 10 is produced by performing planar scanning with a laser light on a surface of the antiglare film, wherein the planar scanning comprises: a main-scanning in X direction; and a sub-scanning in Y direction; and controlling an output of the laser light when the main scanning is performed, so as to form the irregular surface upon irradiation with the laser light. In this production method, a beam diameter of the laser light is changed randomly at each irradiation portion of the laser light (in FIGS. 1A-1B, each lattice point of the lattice 14), whereby the output of laser light is controlled.

  • Publication number: 20040179028
Abstract: In a pixel defect correct method, a refractive index varying area which is different in refractive index from the surroundings thereof in a plane parallel to an image display face is equipped on a defective pixel of the image display face and thereby light is scattered from the refractive index varying area, and the defective pixels of the image display are made inconspicuous. In a color mura correcting method, a color mura film is equipped to an image display portion of an image display device, the complementary color of the color mura is generated in the color mura correcting film in connection with the color mura of the display image, and thereby the color mura of the display device is made inconspicuous.

  • Patent number: 6731402
Abstract: From a photosensitive material F, image data S1 is obtained together with the density Ds of the unexposed portion of the photosensitive material F. On the basis of this density Ds, the optimum characteristic curve for the photosensitive material F stored in the storing means 3 is modified by modifying means 4 to obtain a modified characteristic curve. In the storing means 3, a plurality of characteristic curves after the time lapse may be stored, and from these characteristic curves, a modified characteristic curve may be obtained. The modified characteristic curve is inputted to the transforming means 5, and on the basis of this, the image data S1 is transformed to provide processed image data S2. The processed image data S2 is reproduced as a print image K by the printing means 6.

  • Patent number: 6724942
Abstract: An original image signal made up of a plurality of image signal components each representing a pixel of an original image is processed to suppress the granularity of the original image and enhance the sharpness of the original image, and a final processed image signal is obtained. Processing for suppressing granularity and processing for enhancing sharpness are carried out separately on the original image signal to obtain a granularity-suppressed image signal and a sharpness-enhanced image signal.

  • Patent number: 6445831
Abstract: Graininess suppression image processing is carried out on an original image signal, and a graininess suppression processing image signal is obtained from the graininess suppression image processing. Also, sharpness enhancement image processing is carried out on the original image signal, and a sharpness enhancement processing image signal is obtained from the sharpness enhancement image processing. Processing for obtaining a processed image signal is carried out in accordance with the graininess suppression processing image signal and the sharpness enhancement processing image signal. The processed image signal is obtained with operation processing carried out on image signal components of the graininess suppression processing image signal and the sharpness enhancement processing image signal, which image signal components represent corresponding pixels in two images represented by the graininess suppression processing image signal and the sharpness enhancement processing image signal.

  • Patent number: 5221160
Abstract: A disclosure is made of a subterranean connecting method and a connecting apparatus therefor which are suitable for use when two shield machines are used to excavate a pair of tunnel sections from both ends of a tunnel, and the tunnel sections are connected to each other in mid course. During underground connection, it is important to secure sealing and water retarding with respect to soil and water pressure exerted by the ground in the vicinity of the connecting section. For this purpose, in the connecting apparatus, a penetration ring is arranged in one of the shield machines, and a penetration chamber in which the penetration ring is accommodated is arranged in the other shield machine. Both the both shield machines face each other with a slight gap remaining therebetween and, subsequently, the penetration ring is moved forward and penetrates into the penetration chamber of the mating shield machine. By this penetration, the area between both the shield machines are closed by the penetration ring.
