  • Patent number: 6564052
Abstract: A wireless local loop system including wireless base stations each provided with a detecting part for detecting a fault between it and a wireless base station controller and a part, when detecting a fault by the detecting means, for adding blocking information to broadcast information and sending the same. The wireless local loop system further including wireless subscriber units, for setting up wireless links with the wireless base stations, each provided with a switching part, when receiving and recognizing the blocking information, for switching the setting of the stand-by station to a wireless base station of a nearby area, whereby a new stand-by station is established by a wireless base station which is able to start communication through a wireless link by the blocking information of the occurrence of a fault, which blocking information can be received since the reception level does not fall or the link is not disconnected.

  • Patent number: 4870638
Abstract: A remote maintenance system for a digital communication network, comprises local offices (LOs), at least two of which are grouped and connected to each other by a local line in the group, and a centralized maintenance and operation center (CMOC) located at a tandem office and connected to each LO by an ordinary digital transmission line (DTL) using the No. 7 Common Channel Signaling (CCS) system recommended by the CCITT. When a serious fault, such as system-down, occurs in a first LO in the group, a serious alarm signal is sent from the first LO to the CMOC through the local line, a second LO in the group and the DTL connecting the second LO and the CMOC, so that maintenance data for repairing the serious fault are provided at the CMOC and sent, under the No. 7 CCS system, to the first LO through the DTL toward the first LO.

  • Patent number: 4603415
Abstract: A system for linking channel groups from various data terminals in a sending station to corresponding data terminals in a receiving station, via digital telephone switching networks. Orderly connection of channels, maintaining the space order and time phase between channels of the group, is accomplished by providing a group trunk (as named by the inventors) in each terminal station, to connect the data terminals to the telephone network. The group trunk establishes the necessary number of channels between the sending and receiving stations. The group trunk of the sending station provides data to be transmitted with a channel identification code, with which the data is transmitted. The group trunk of the receiving terminal detects the channel identification code of the received data, then rearranges the channel paths of the receiving terminal, and equalizes the delay time of each channel.

  • Patent number: 4466095
Abstract: In a time division switching system of the time-space-time (T-S-T) arrangement, a speech path memory having both forward and backward time switches has addresses corresponding to accommodated lines; and a speech signal and a non-speech signal (a signal indicating an on-hook or off-hook state and other control signals) are transmitted over a highway between each line module and a switch module. When a speech channel is busy, the speech signal is read out from a speech path memory and written therein and transmitted to a remote station. Also when the speech channel is idle, the non-speech signal is written into the speech path memory but, in this case, the non-speech signal is read out into a signal processor or a non-speech signal is written into the speech path memory from the signal processor or a non-speech signal written into the speech path memory from the signal processor is read out onto a line.
