  • Patent number: 5164658
Abstract: An integrated circuit comprising circuits such as current mirror circuits, and designed to supply a current from a current source to a load. The circuit comprises two current mirror circuits, two transistors, a current source, and a load. Either current mirror circuit has a power-supply terminal, an input terminal and an output terminal. Either transistor has two ends and an input terminal. The current source has two ends, an the load also has two ends. The current source is connected at the first end to a first power source, and at the second end to the input terminal of the first transistor. The first transistor is coupled at the first end to a second power source, and at the second end to the input terminal of the first current mirror circuit. The first current mirror circuit has its power-supply terminal coupled to the first power source, and its output terminal coupled to the input terminal of the second current mirror circuit.

  • Patent number: 5136254
Abstract: A differential amplifier amplifies an FM signal supplied from an FM signal source. A phase shift circuit shifts a phase of a carrier signal included in an FM signal output from the differential amplifier. A multiplier circuit multiplies an FM signal supplied from the differential amplifier to a first balance input terminal and an FM signal supplied from the phase shift circuit to a second balance input terminal and then outputs a demodulation signal. A resistor serving as a supply means supplies an FM signal, whose carrier signal has a phase opposite to that of a carrier signal of an FM signal supplied from the differential amplifier to an output terminal of the phase shift circuit. The phase characteristics of the phase shift circuit is equivalently controlled and the phase of the FM signal supplied to the multiplier circuit controlled, thereby preventing a demodulation output from being distorted.

  • Patent number: 4733161
Abstract: A constant current source circuit for an integrated device having a predetermined power supply voltage. The circuit includes a first current source responsive to the power supply voltage for supplying a first input current to the circuit, a resistor for controlling the level of the output current of the circuit, an output transistor coupled to the resistor for supplying the output current to the resistor and including an emitter having an emitter area, a stabilizing transistor coupled to the output transistor for supplying a fixed voltage to the output transistor in response to the first input current from the first current source, and a stabilizing circuit coupled between the stabilizing transistor and the output transistor for reducing variations in the output current of the circuit without substantially increasing the emitter area of the output transistor.

  • Patent number: 4498041
Abstract: A circuit producing a relatively stable constant current during power source voltage fluctuations and driven by a relatively low DC power source voltage, which is includes a power source voltage supply terminal to which is supplied a DC power source voltage, a reference potential terminal, and a current source. A first transistor is connected at its collector to the power source voltage supply terminal via the current source and at its emitter to the reference potential terminal. A current mirror circuit is also used, and a second transistor is connected at its collector to the base of the first transistor via the current mirror circuit and at its emitter to the reference potential terminal. The base of the second transistor is connected to the collector of the first transistor. A third transistor is connected between the power source voltage supply terminal and the reference potential terminal via output terminals to which a load means is connected.

  • Patent number: 4408132
Abstract: First and second transistors which form a differential amplifier have their common emitter connected to a first constant current source and their collectors connected through a current mirror circuit to a power supply. The base potential of the first transistor depends on the current from the input signal source which may vary and which is supplied to the base of the first transistor. The base potential of the second transistor is determined by two resistors and a bias voltage source of a potential difference detecting circuit and by a second constant current source, said resistors, bias voltage source (VBY) and second constant current source being connected to the base of the second transistor. The differential amplifier is therefore turned on or off by the voltage level which is determined by the difference between the base potentials of the first and second transistors, i.e., the current ratio between the first and second constant current sources.
