  • Patent number: 8551018
Abstract: A puncture set includes a puncture needle unit and puncture device. The puncture needle unit includes a puncture needle and a tubular casing, with the puncture needle having a needle hub and a needle body possessing a needle point. The tubular casing movably receives the puncture needle and has an opening from which the needle point can project. The puncture device has a housing, an installation section at which the casing is removably installed, and a plunger having a connection section connected to the needle hub in an installed state where the casing is installed on the installation section. Casing-side projections project from the outer periphery of the casing and are circumferentially arranged. Installation section-side projections project from the inner periphery of the installation section and are circumferentially arranged. In the installed state, at least one installation section-side projection is located between adjacent casing-side projections.

  • Patent number: 7780610
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a component measuring instrument with which a predetermined component in blood can be measured securely and in a short time. The component measuring instrument, which is used by mounting therein a chip having a puncture needle, includes: a specimen sampling portion application portion to which a specimen sampling portion to be punctured is applied; a puncturer for moving the puncture needle; pressure reducer for putting the punctured portion of the specimen sampling portion punctured by the puncture needle, together with a containing space for the puncture needle, into a reduced-pressure condition; measurer for measuring the amount of a predetermined component in the blood sampled from the punctured portion; and a chip retracting mechanism for moving the chip in a direction away from the specimen sampling portion while maintaining the reduced-pressure condition generated by the pressure reducer.

  • Publication number: 20050234386
Abstract: An injection needle has a puncture section having a small diameter that does not give a patient pain, injury, etc. and, moreover, does not make a patient feel fear and anxiety, a base end section with a large diameter to achieve a required flow rate and strength, and a tapered section connecting the puncture section and the base end section. The injection needle and a liquid introducing instrument can eliminate pain caused by a tapered section, and excellent puncture can be made with the needle and the instrument. An injection needle (1) has a puncture section (2) provided with a needle point that can be punctured into a living body, a base end section (3) having an outer and an inner diameter larger than the puncture section (2), a tapered section (4) connecting the puncture section (2) and the base end section (3). The tapered section (4) has smaller puncture resistance than the puncture section (2), or specifically, taper angle (A) is equal to or less than 2 degrees.

  • Patent number: 6315738
Abstract: An assembly to be detachably mounted on a body fluid monitoring system is provided. The assembly has a lancet and a device for collecting and detecting a body fluid. The lancet has a puncture needle. In this assembly, the puncture needle is maintained in sterilized conditions until its use, and the sterilization can be conducted with no adverse effects on the detection device. A readily sterilizable lancet unit and a body fluid-collecting and detecting unit adapted for use in such an assembly as well as a body fluid-monitoring system including such an assembly are also provided. The assembly comprises a first housing having a sleeve which movably accommodates the lancet in its interior, and a second housing having the body fluid detection device. The first housing and the second housing share an opening. The lancet is sterilized before the assembly. The body fluid-collecting and detecting section has a body fluid guide on the periphery of the inlet.

  • Patent number: 6261245
Abstract: A body-fluid inspection device, which sticks a skin so as to obtain a fine amount of body fluids and measures ingredients of the body fluids, includes a casing having an opening, a sticking device having a sticking needle that is allowed to protrude from the opening of the casing, and a suction device which places at least portion of a space inside the casing in a reduced-pressure state. Also included are a reduced-pressure releasing device for releasing the space inside the casing from the reduced-pressure state, a chip which is detachably attached to the opening of the casing and is provided with test paper for absorbing the body fluids that have been sucked by the body-fluid suction device, a measuring device for measuring ingredients of the body fluids that have been absorbed by the test paper, and a display device for displaying results of measurements made by the measuring device. The display device is placed on one portion of a surface of the casing.

  • Patent number: 5360098
Abstract: Empty trays are transferred from a main conveying line for conveying trays to a feed line branched off from the main conveying line, yarn packages are transferred one after another on the feed line from a doffing machine to the empty trays, and then the trays respectively loaded with the yarn packages are returned sequentially to the main conveying line. Thus, the yarn package conveying system curtails time necessary for transferring yarn packages form the doffing machine to the empty trays, and simplifies yarn package transferring work and the tray conveying machine.
