  • Patent number: 5196801
Abstract: A fuel sensor for sensing methanol in methanol-mixed fuel, which comprises a structure which defines a fuel passage through which the mixed fuel flows, an electrode assembly including a pair of probe portions which are exposed to the fuel passage, and an electric circuit causing the paired probe portions to exhibit positive and negative characteristics respectively in the mixed fuel. At least the positive probe portion is intimately covered with an electrically insulating film.

  • Patent number: 4939467
Abstract: A fuel sensor for sensing a mixing ratio of a given liquid in a mixed fuel comprises a housing; a structure housed in the housing, the structure having a fuel passage formed therethrough; and an electrode assembly housed in the housing and held by the structure, the electrode assembly including at least one pair of probe portions which are exposed to the fuel passage. The full sensor also includes an output control circuit housed in the housing, the output control circuit issuing an amplified voltage output which varies in accordance with a small information signal applied to an input portion of the output control circuit; and an electrically conducting member housed in the housing and electrically connecting the electrode assembly to the input portion of the output control circuit, so that the output control circuit issues an amplified voltage output which varies in accordance with a capacitance established between the paired probe portions.

  • Patent number: 4312795
Abstract: A paint composition comprising a powder paint uniformly dispersed in an aqueous solution of a water soluble carboxylated resin. Use is made of a powder paint having a mean particle size of 1-100 microns and preferably comprising a thermosetting resin as the vehicle. This paint composition contains no surfactant but, nevertheless, features high stability of the dispersion phase and can provide paint films of excellent resistance to water. This paint composition may utilize recovered waste powder paint, i.e. a mixture of differently colored powder paints, preferably with the addition of a black pigment such as carbon black.
