  • Patent number: 5061205
Abstract: An electrical connector for flat arranged terminals provided on a flexible sheet is more compact in size and reduces the number of parts via one-piece formation. A body portion and a cover portion of the connector are configured by insert molding to contain a frame having parallel conductive contact lines as an insert. The body is configured to be spaced from the cover, but connected by a pair of hinge portions. The contact lines extending from two sides of the body are cut off from the prior stage frame, and the lines extending from one side are each bent on the body to form a leaf spring. The lines extending from another side of the body are curtailed. Then, the cover is bent over the body to fit each other. In the fitting, the cover is withheld first at a position that provides a clearance to receive the flexible sheet having terminals to be connected.

  • Patent number: 4995836
Abstract: The inventive pin plug connector is advantageously applied to connection of a coaxial cable for electronics, in particular, in audio and video devices. The coaxial cable for such usage comprises a core conductive line, an insulative layer covering the core line, and an outer conductive line defined of networks knitted of thinned copper lines to cover the inner insulative layer. Conventionally, the prior job of taking the network outer line from the cable was needed, but troublesome.

  • Patent number: 4990103
Abstract: In a plug with a cord, the plug body with a plurality of contacts received in its contact receiving holes has a clamper fixing slot in its rear portion and a clamper put on the cord having its core conductors connected to the contacts has a forwardly projecting coupling piece for engagement with the clamper fixing slot. The plug body is received in a cap having at its rear end a flexible cord protecting portion, through which the cord is led out of the cap.

  • Patent number: 4969843
Abstract: In a contact plug connector to be coupled with a socket having contact ends, the contact plug includes an insulative body which encloses a plurality of separated terminal liune extender strips combined with two unslotted carrier ends, an insulative base which mounts with the body such that contact mounts for the extenders strips are accessible for electrical contact, and a housing which encloses the body and the base. The extender strips are formed on one metal plate in this invention, but are defined and separated by slots formed on the metal plate. Although these extender strips are fragile, their handling becomes convenient with the unslotted carrier ends that are cut off in the process of assembling the plug connector.

  • Patent number: 4859197
Abstract: A pin plug connector is comprised of a pin, a body which will be connected with the pin by insertion, a cover which will attach over circumferential side of the body, a covered shield line which comprises a core line, a shield line and a cover portion, a terminal which will connect the shield line to the cover, a cap which will fit over asembled components noted above, and wherein improvement is introduced in that the terminal is provided with a press fitter to press-fit the shield line and a clamping end to clamp the cover portion of the line, and an engaging end to engage with the cover, thereby external forces which attempt to pull the shield line will be resonably divided to the connections mounted on the terminal and then a break of connection will be avoided.
