Abstract: An endoscope light source apparatus which can feed an illuminating light adapted to a scope provided with a frame sequential type imaging device, a scope provided with a color mosaic type imaging device and a fiber scope has a light source lamp which can emit the illuminating light. A filter which can transmit the illuminating light is interposed in the light path connecting the light source lamp with the entrance end surface of a light guide capable of feeding the illuminating light to the scope and is provided within a cassette which is inserted through an inserting aperture provided on a housing containing the light source apparatus.
Abstract: This solid state imaging apparatus is provided within the tip part of an insertable part of an endoscope and is provided with an image forming optical system for forming images. This image forming optical system forms an optical image on the imaging surface of a solid state imaging chip provided in the rear of this image forming optical system. This solid state imaging chip is affixed to a circuit substrate extending substantially at right angles with the imaging surface and electrically connected with the solid state imaging chip. This circuit substrate is connected with a signal cable transmitting input and output signals of the solid state imaging chip.
Abstract: A non-ferrous metal mechanical part having a wear-resistant and smooth surface, and comprising a substrate of a metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, aluminum alloy, nickel, and nickel alloy, and a surface layer formed on a surface of said substrate and containing chromium oxide (Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3) as a major constituent. The chromium oxide (Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3) is a substance which has been converted by heating a chromium compound, and an intermediate layer containing a reaction product between the substrate and chromium oxide in the surface layer is formed at an interface between the surface layer and the substrate.
Abstract: A video scope system including a video scope in which a solid state image sensor is disposed in a distal end of an insertion to be inserted into an object under inspection and picks up an image of the inside of the object under inspection illuminated by a light fed by a light guide extending in the insertion section, a light source unit having a light source feeding a light into the light guide, and a video processor unit processing a signal supplied from the solid state image sensor to output a picture signal to be displayed on a monitor. The light source unit and the video processor unit are disposed in separate housings, respectively, and these units are connected to each other by a cable to transmit a signal therebetween.
Abstract: An endoscope includes an insertion section inserted into the patient's body. A distal end member is provided at the distal end of the insertion section. An illuminating system for illuminating a desired portion is attached to the end member. An observation unit is detachably attached to the distal end member. This unit includes a cylindrical support detachably fitted to the end member. In the support are disposed an objective lens system for imaging an optical image of the portion illuminated by the illuminating system, a solid-state image sensor for converting the image to an electric signal, and electronic components connected to the sensor.
Abstract: The endoscope apparatus is provided with an endoscope, a light source apparatus and an imaging controlling apparatus. The endoscope comprises an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part, an image forming optical system opposed to the observing window within the tip part of the insertable part, an illuminating light transmitting system inserted through the insertable part and emitting an illuminating light out of the illuminating window, an imaging apparatus imaging an object image formed by the image forming optical system and a first signal transmitting system connected to the imaging apparatus. The entrance end side of the illuminating light transmitting system and the base end side of the first signal transmitting system are integrated and are provided at the end with a connecting part. A second signal transmitting system connected to the first signal transmitting system is extended from the imaging controlling apparatus.

Abstract: The endoscope light source apparatus of this invention can be selectively connected with an endoscope having a light guide means which can transmit an illuminating light for an object and an endoscope having a light source which can illuminate an object. The endoscope connected to the endoscope light source apparatus is discriminated by a scope discriminating circuit outputting a signal which can control a light guide light source and a power source which can feed an electric power to the light source provided in the endoscope.
Abstract: This rigid electronic endoscope has an endoscope having an elongate insertable part connected to the front part of an operating part which is also a holding part on the base side and formed of a solid state imaging device which can output an electric signal by electrically converting an object image in this insertable part and a conductive shielding member sheathing this insertable part. The electric signal obtained by this endoscope is input into a signal processing circuit. The ground terminal of this signal processing circuit is electrically connected to the above mentioned shielding member and is isolated from a ground terminal on the external current source side.

Abstract: This electronic endoscope has an insertable part having an observing window on the side of a tip part extended forward of the insertable part. The solid state imaging device is to receive an entering light from the above mentioned observing window and is arranged so as to intersect substantially at right angles with the axial direction of the above mentioned insertable part. Contents are arranged on the opposite observing window side of this solid state imaging device. This solid state imaging device is provided with wire bonding parts on the side different from the side on which the above mentioned contents are arranged.
Abstract: This endoscope system comprises an endoscope and a washing apparatus. The endoscope is provided with an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part, an observing system receiving the returning light from an object entering through the observing window, an illuminating light output system emitting an illuminating light from the illuminating window and a memorizing device capable of memorizing information relating to washing. The washing apparatus is provided with a read-out device reading out information memorized in the memorizing device of the endoscope and a control device controlling the conditions of washing the endoscope by the information read out by the read-out device.

Reflecting members are movably provided in the light path connecting the light source and the connecting part, and switch the light path between a light path through which the illuminating light adapted to an endoscope provided with a frame sequential type imaging device can be made to enter a filter which can sequentially transmit it and a light path which can avoid the filter.

Abstract: A plurality of electronic endoscopes, individually having insertion sections of different lengths, are classified into a plurality of endoscope groups according to the length of the insertion section. A signal cable, having a length predetermined for each endoscope group, is disposed in an electronic endoscope which belongs to its corresponding group. An identification information member, indicative of the endoscope group, is provided at a connector section of the endoscope, and identification information of the information member is identified by an endoscope control device. The control device has a function to compensate a driving pulse transmitted to the electronic endoscope and an image signal from a solid-state image sensor of the endoscope, in accordance with the identification information (cable length information).
