  • Publication number: 20240122028
Abstract: An object of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a novel display device or a display system. Another object of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a display device or a display system which can be manufactured at low cost and can provide various functions to a user. A pixel includes light-emitting elements whose emission colors are different from each other, a light-emitting element IR, a light-receiving element PS, and an infrared light sensor IRS. An image of a fundus of an eye is captured using the light-emitting element emitting an infrared light as a light source, and imaging is performed by the light-receiving element IRS. A substrate of a display panel is manufactured using a single crystal Si substrate capable of microfabrication and higher integration.

  • Publication number: 20240087487
Abstract: A semiconductor device having favorable display quality is provided. The semiconductor device is provided with a display portion, a line-of-sight sensor portion, a control portion, and an arithmetic portion. The line-of-sight sensor portion has a function of obtaining first information showing a direction of a user's line of sight. The arithmetic portion has a function of determining a first region including a gaze point of the user on the display portion with use of the first information and a function of increasing a definition of an image displayed on the first region. Light emitted from the display portion may be used to obtain the first information showing the direction of the line of sight.

  • Publication number: 20240068422
Abstract: An upstream integrated value is an integrated value of a difference obtained by subtracting an upstream gas temperature at a starting point in time of integration from the upstream gas temperature after starting of the internal combustion engine. A downstream integrated value is an integrated value of a difference obtained by subtracting a downstream gas temperature at the starting point in time of the integration from the downstream gas temperature after the starting of the internal combustion engine. An anomaly diagnosing process obtains an anomaly determination result indicating that the exhaust purification device is in a removed state when a deviation between the upstream integrated value and the downstream integrated value is smaller than a reference level. The determination threshold is higher than a dew point.

  • Patent number: 7079216
Abstract: Stacked mother substrates are efficiently separated into individual display device substrate-units by a scribing and breaking method. In a state in which the transported stacked mother substrates PN are held in a raised state, scribe lines SBL1, SBL2 are formed on a first substrate SUB1 and a second substrate SUB2 at the same position. Then, first of all, the stacked mother substrates are broken into strip-like substrates by breaking a periphery and removing a peripheral wastage and, thereafter, the strip-like substrates are broken into display device substrate-units PNL and, thereafter, internal wastages of the respective display device substrate-units PN are separated and removed.

  • Patent number: 5570736
Abstract: A process for continuously casting steel slabs employing a molten steel containing an oxygen concentration of 30 ppm or less, preferably, 20 ppm or less, using a straight immersion nozzle to which an inert gas is not injected, and disposing a static magnetic field generator on the back surface of the mold for applying the strong static magnetic field to the molten steel within the mold, thereby restricting the flow of the molten steel. With this process, it is possible to prevent the nozzle blocking, and hence to obtain the steel slabs excellent in the internal and surface qualities.

  • Patent number: 5297614
Abstract: A process for continuous casting of ultra low carbon aluminum killed steel, characterized in that the steel contains 6-20 ppm of calcium, less than 0.01 wt % of sulfur, and less than 30 ppm of oxygen, the molten steel superheat temperature in the tundish is higher than 16.degree. C., and the average flow rate of molten steel is greater than 1.2 m/sec in the straight part of the nozzle. This process prevents rusting and eliminates the necessity of blowing a gas into the immersion nozzle and hence prevents the swelling of cold rolled sheets.

  • Patent number: 4011151
Abstract: A process for purifying waste water by electrolysis in two steps is disclosed. In the first step, the electrolysis is effected by dipping an iron anode and a carbon cathode in the waste water having a pH of about 7 to be purified until a pH of 11 is reached. The water is filtered to remove the precipitate which has formed. In the second step, the pH of the filtrate having a pH of 11 is adjusted to about 4 by electrolysis with a carbon anode and an aluminum cathode or by adding thereto an acid and then the electrolysis of the filtrate is effected by dipping therein an iron anode and an aluminum or aluminum base alloy cathode.
