  • Publication number: 20050041157
Abstract: A system which allows significant camera breaks to be automatically detected among a large number of camera breaks and which is suitable in retrieving or playing a digital video is realized. Using a detected result recorded in an analysis result recording unit, a camera break analyzing unit compares the camera breaks among different digital videos. Thereby, the camera break analyzing unit detects camera breaks in which similar frames are detected, like frames used in common among a plurality of digital video of the same category. Such camera breaks are detected as the significant camera breaks among the large number of camera breaks and are used as indexes for retrieving or playing the digital video.

  • Publication number: 20040224163
Abstract: A thermally-conductive epoxy resin molded article comprises an epoxy resin having molecular chains that contain an azomethine group (—CH═N—). The molded article has a thermal conductivity in a range of 0.5 to 30 W/(m·K). It is preferred that the molecular chains of the epoxy resin are oriented in a specific direction, and in that direction, the molded article has a thermal conductivity in a range of 0.5 to 30 W/(m·K). The thermally-conductive epoxy resin molded article is produced by applying a magnetic field to the epoxy resin composition to orient the molecular chains of the epoxy resin in a specific direction and then curing the epoxy resin composition.

  • Publication number: 20040164715
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a display for a secondary battery in response to the status thereof. For this end, the secondary battery is provided with the display section including LEDs and the switch. If the switch is operated while the secondary battery is being exhibited in a shop, displays to give an image what happens after purchase of the secondary battery are preformed in the display section. Such displays differ from each other in the charging mode and the discharging mode of the secondary battery. For example, in the charging mode, LEDs are sequentially lighted to indicate that the secondary battery is being charged. Additionally, by controlling the LEDs based on the timing calculated from the charging current magnitude through the secondary battery, it is possible to indicate such information if the charging is approaching to the final stage.

  • Patent number: 6466731
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a moving picture processing apparatus capable of preventing the viewer from watching the already watched pictures repeatedly. The moving picture processing apparatus of the present invention records the feature amounts of the already watched pictures in a database every moment and judges whether or not the pictures the viewer is now watching have already been displayed. When the current pictures are what have already been displayed, the apparatus carries out the process of stopping the video output until the time set by the user has been reached. When a list of small screens appears to show pictures, the apparatus carries out the process of displaying only dissimilar pictures on the screen.
