    Abstract: The present invention is provided to suppress occurrence of free flow. An infusion pump includes: a sliding clamp closing and releasing an infusion tube; a pump body including a tube attachment portion to which the infusion tube is to be attached detachably and forcibly transferring liquid in the infusion tube; and a door pivotably supported by the pump body so that the tube attachment portion is openable and closable by the door. The pump body includes: a clamp attachment portion into which the sliding clamp having the infusion tube set therein is to be inserted and set; and a release operator being operated in the clamp attachment portion to transfer the sliding clamp from a close mode to a release mode, the release operator being configured to be locked, in response to opening movement of the door, so that the release operator is inoperable for releasing, and to be unlocked in response to closing movement of the door.

The electronic pasting method uses a detecting unit and a paste information updating unit. The detecting unit detects a paste stroke made over two print sheets filled to denote a user's pasting action with which part or whole of a printed matter of electronic document information is pasted on printed matter, then detects the pasting action from a set of paste strokes, thereby obtaining a paste-from document, a paste-to document, and a paste position according to the pasting action detected by the detecting unit. The paste information updating unit updates the e-document, the printed matter information, and the written information according to the above paste information.

An index data creation unit in an information terminal creates index information for a page to display from the electronic document, and records it along with time information in an index database. When a time is specified, the index data search unit searches the index database for index information recorded near that time, and identifies the page position of that electronic document from the searched index information. A data display unit displays the beginning of the electronic document at the identified position. The information terminal is capable of managing information by linking electronic data from handwritten information written on paper with a digital pen, with the display page the electronic document by utilizing a stroke set database and a pen data processor.

    Abstract: An image display device according to the present invention is disclosed wherein a display function is added to an area sensor in which an optical sensor (constituted by a thin film light sensing diode) and a TFT are disposed in two dimensions on a transparent substrate to form a read function. Pixels each having a read function are each provided with a light transmitting area, and the thin film light sensing diodes and the TFTs are each formed using a substantially transparent material, so that the device itself is transparent. Therefore, a user can directly see the contents of a printed matter while the area sensor is placed on the printed matter. Further, an image can be read by, for example, designating the image required for the user from above the device. Consequently, it is possible to decrease the power consumption of the device.
