  • Patent number: 6023633
Abstract: A magnetomeasuring apparatus includes a cooling vessel holding a plurality of magnetic field sensors and a coolant. The magnetomeasuring apparatus comprises a sensor support with the plurality of magnetic field sensors removably mounted thereon, and a fixing device for removably fixing the sensor support with the plural magnetic field sensors mounted thereon to a measuring surface of the cooling vessel. An opening of the cooling vessel is larger than the measuring surface. The magnetomeasuring apparatus has a small opening so that the apparatus has a small total amount of heat intruding the vessel.

  • Patent number: 5880588
Abstract: Apparatus for measuring weak magnetic fields includes a cryogenic vessel CR having a domed bottom D for accepting a human head, a plurality of magnetic sensor units 10 mounted upright on the inner surface of the bottom D of the cryogenic vessel CR, an interface device 20 for receiving output signals of the magnetic sensor units 10 through respective lead lines 4, a data processor device 30 for analyzing the output signals of the magnetic sensor units 10 to specify magnetic fields spread in the ambient space about the human head and calculating the activity of a brain B from the magnetic fields, and a display device 40 for displaying the brain activity. Each of the magnetic sensor units 10 is fed along its guide line G through a small opening OP of the cryogenic vessel CR and mounted upright on the bottom D. As the opening OP of the cryogenic vessel CR is relatively small, the evaporation loss of a coolant in the cryogenic vessel CR is minimized and the running cost of the apparatus will be decreased.

  • Patent number: 5291135
Abstract: A multichannel weak magnetic field measuring system for neuromagnetic diagnosis is provided having a plurality of dc-SQUID magnetometers. Bias current setting circuits are provided for detecting an even harmonic component of the output across the terminals of the corresponding SQUID and automatically adjusting a DC bias current to the SQUID. Accordingly, the level of the component becomes a predetermined value. Circuitry is also included for equalizing the magnetic flux detection sensitivities of these dc-SQUID magnetometers. Abnormal operation detecting circuits are also provided for producing abnormal operation detected outputs when the level of the corresponding even harmonic component is smaller than a certain threshold value.

  • Patent number: 5211178
Abstract: Cross-correlation values representative of cross-correlation of an electrocardiogram pulse with a rectangular pulse window which consists of a negative rectangular pulse, a positive rectangular pulse and a negative rectangular pulse are obtained. An R-wave of the electrocardiogram is detected by a peak of the cross-correlation values is detected. Then a magnetocardiogram in synchronism with the R-wave of the electrocardiogram is detected. Magnetocardiograms corresponding to individual cycles of a magnetocardiogram can be added as required.

  • Patent number: 5206589
Abstract: Plural vector magnetic flux meters are disposed based on predetermined relationships in their positions, to obtain vector magnetic flux at plural points. The obtained vector magnetic flux includes magnetic flux components in plural directions. Curved surface interpolation is carried out based on the magnetic flux components in the corresponding direction to obtain magnetic flux components for arbitrary points. Magnetic flux components in plural directions for an arbitrary point are obtained by selecting the obtained magnetic flux components for the arbitrary point belonging to a region which overlaps with all interpolation regions for corresponding magnetic flux components of the magnetic flux.
