  • Patent number: 5861819
Abstract: A radio receiver includes an input device for producing an analog input signal and a receiver for receiving a radio signal to produce an analog received signal. A first switch selects the analog input signal and the analog receiver signal alternately to output a selected analog signal to an A-D converter, and a second switch divides the output of the A-D converter into a digital input signal and a digital received signal. A processor processes the digital received signal and the digital input signal and performs an operation determined based on the digital input signal.

  • Patent number: 5532683
Abstract: A paging receiver is provided for use with a plurality of paging service systems transmitting different radio frequency channels. The paging receiver searches for every reception channel and determines object reception channels by referring to system information identifying each service system, and contains an electric field detection section for detecting the electric field strength of radio frequency channels and a reception channel control section for controlling searching for radio frequency channels and determining object reception channel. The reception channel control section immediately switches the radio frequency channel when the received electric field strength is not greater than a prescribed value and when the system information does not exhibit coincidence, but when the system information exhibits coincidence, determines that the radio frequency channel being received is an object radio frequency channel and continues receiving of the paging information.

  • Patent number: 5493284
Abstract: In order to prevent unintentional display of messages to the view of a person or persons other than the subscriber, a radio pager is arranged to inhibit the display of an incoming message and/or inhibit the messages already stored in a memory to be displaced. The pager detects the display prohibition by checking the presence of control codes stored in a memory provided for storing the messages. The display prohibition can be set or removed via the selective manipulation of one or more of three switches.

  • Patent number: 5448452
Abstract: A circuit board for mounting a band-pass filter. An elongate through hole is formed through the ground surface of the circuit board for shielding the input and output terminals of a band-pass filter from each other. The through hole eliminates unexpected coupling between the input and output terminals within the circuit board. Solder which flows into the through hole allows the casing of the filter to closely contact the ground surface of the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5410234
Abstract: A motor drive control apparatus having an electrical power amplifier for supplying an electrical power to a motor, and a current control loop and speed control loop for controlling the drive of the motor, which includes a current feedforward component calculation section for creating voltage commands to be imposed on respective phases from current commands for the respective phases for the motor and the impedance model of the motor for carrying out a feedforward control by using the voltage commands to be imposed on the respective phases.

  • Patent number: 5392217
Abstract: An acceleration and deceleration controlling apparatus in which a positional moving amount supplied from a host is converted into an accumulated value of absolute positions by two serially connected accumulators to be output to a first stage of a buffer registers 4. A switch 5 is provided to read out a value from a desired register among the buffer registers 4. The switch 5 changes the substantial number of stages of the buffer registers 4. At the same time, by correspondingly switching the divisor of the divider 7, the time constant for the acceleration and deceleration are desirably changed, which contributes to optimize the acceleration and deceleration time and to reduce the processing time.

  • Patent number: 5390340
Abstract: In a radio paging receiver operable in response to a radio signal which includes a preamble signal, a call number signal, and a display information signal to decode the call number signal and the display information signal in synchronism with a sequence of internal clock pulses produced from a clock synchronization circuit, the internal clock pulses are also produced from the clock synchronization circuit during a time interval except for the preamble signal with reference to electric field intensity and a phase or a frequency difference between the internal clock pulse sequence and a sequence of digital signal derived from the radio signal. Specifically, the internal clock pulse sequence is produced again when the electric field intensity and the phase or the frequency difference become large so as to keep synchronization of the internal clock pulse sequence during reception of the radio signal.

  • Patent number: 4315231
Abstract: High-speed breaker for an electric circuit, including a fixed contact, movable contact and a movable holder for the movable contact. An actuating rod is reciprocally movable toward and away from the fixed contact between first and second positions. A head is connected to the actuating rod. In the first position of the actuating rod, the head engages with the movable holder to cause the movable contact to engage with the fixed contact. In the second position of the actuating rod, the movable contact is disengaged from the fixed contact. A release member connected to the head is operative in response to overcurrent passing through the circuit when the actuating rod is in the first position, to disengage the movable holder from the head to disengage the movable contact from the fixed contact. An extension of the actuating rod is located between the engaging position of the movable holder with the head and the connecting position of the release member to the head.
