  • Publication number: 20060104604
Abstract: A recording/playback apparatus is disposed with a first recording/playback unit, a second recording/playback unit, and a display unit. The display unit includes a first display representing the first recording/playback unit, a second display representing the second recording/playback unit, and plural light-emitting elements disposed between the first display and the second display. The recording/playback apparatus is also disposed with an input unit to which is inputted a start instruction of dubbing for transmitting and receiving data between the first recording/playback unit and the second recording/playback unit. When the start instruction is inputted to the input unit and dubbing is started, the display unit displays the direction of dubbing, the speed of dubbing, and the percentage of completion of dubbing by lighting the plural light-emitting elements.

  • Patent number: 6608748
Abstract: In order to prevent the display quality of a display device from deteriorating due to an external stress, a liquid crystal panel for displaying images and characters, and an illuminator for projecting light from the back of the liquid crystal panel are supported by a mold frame (1) in FIG. 3 and a front frame fixed to the mold frame (1). The mold frame (1) is formed with mounting holes for attaching the liquid crystal panel to an external device such as personal computer, and is at its corners with cutouts (20) for absorbing the external stresses which are propagated through the mounting holes in a state where the display device is attached to the external device.

  • Publication number: 20030071933
Abstract: A lamp lighting terminal 4 which is a conductive pad connected to a power supply terminal of a lamp is mounted on a surface opposite to a light emitting surface of a flat-type light source apparatus 3. Then, a terminal of a inspection device 16 is brought into contact with the lamp lighting terminal 4 to light up a liquid crystal display apparatus, thereby allowing inspection to be carried out. The flat-type light source apparatus 3 may be provided with a light guide 9 inputting lights from a light source through the side to output the light through one surface. In this configuration, inspection work at the time of lighting inspection of a liquid crystal display is simplified, and a high-quality liquid crystal display can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20020094192
Abstract: A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus having a capability of allowing contents of records on a magnetic tape to be discriminatively identified and a capability for displaying closed caption includes a tape map memory for storing contents recorded on a tape and a tape map controller. As a manual input facility, a tape map button, a caption button, a play-back button, a stop button and others are provided. Upon loading of a tape undergone recording(s), the tape map button is pushed to display on a monitor screen tape map information concerning the contents of program(s) recorded on the loaded tape, temporal duration(s) of the program(s), and history of play-back of the tape.

  • Patent number: 5255134
Abstract: An auto-tracking system for a helical scan type magnetic recording/reproducing unit comprises a synchronizing signal separating circuit from video signals on a running magnetic tape reproduced by a rotary video head, a periodicity variation measuring and comparing circuit in the synchronizing signals separated in the synchronizing signal separating circuit, and a tracking control means which controls the running condition of the magnetic tape with reference to a phase difference between a reference signal in association with the rotary video head and a signal representing the running condition of the magnetic tape and changes tracking by a predetermined amount in response to the periodicity variation measured by the measuring and comparing circuit so as to minimize the periodicity variation measured by the same, thereby an optimum tracking position is obtained without being interfered by cross-talks between the adjacent tracks.

  • Patent number: 4634573
Abstract: An improved steel for cold forging for machine structural use, particularly, case hardening steel, contents of Al, N and Nb are selected to satisfy a specific corelation therebetween, and the amounts of O and S are controlled. The steel is resistant to cracking at the cold forging, and growth of austenite crystals to coarse grains during carburizing or carbonitriding is prevented.Disclosed are preferable structure of the steel and rolling conditions to obtain the structure, and conditions for continuous casting of the steel.
