  • Publication number: 20060238567
Abstract: A recording apparatus including a recording head detachably attached on a carriage and a preliminary-discharge receiving unit. The recording head is movable such that an ink discharge surface is movable by a detachable/attachable moving distance in the direction of ink discharge when the recording head is detached from and attached to the carriage. The preliminary-discharge receiving unit is formed such that the distance to the ink discharge surface of the recording head attached on the carriage is set to be a predetermined preliminary discharge distance. The detachable/attachable moving distance is larger than the preliminary discharge distance.

  • Publication number: 20050207718
Abstract: The spacers 3 and 4 and the recess is formed on the supporting substrate 2 to support the upper cladding layer 7. The intermediate surface 22 and 23 lower than the top surface of the spacers 3 and 4 and higher than the inner bottom surface of the recess is formed on the supporting substrate 2. Each of the height between the top surface of the spacers 3 and 4 and the intermediate surfaces 22 and 23, and the height between the intermediate surfaces 22 and 23 and the inner bottom surface of the recess of the second substrate 2 becomes thin compared with the total thickness of the lower cladding layer. Thus, when the resin for the lower cladding layer 9 is cured to shrinkage, the inner stress in the resin is dispersed and the occurrence of the wrinkle 12 and the void decreases.

  • Publication number: 20050166078
Abstract: An information processing apparatus which comprises a recording section for recording information in a removable recording medium, a switch, a computer, a power supply section for supplying power to the recording section and the computer, and an operating system which is software for controlling the computer. In which, the power supply section controls power supply to the recording section and the computer individually, only the power supply to the recording section is controlled ON/OFF corresponding to a state of the switch. The operating system conducts a processing based on a presumption that the recording section is not connected to. Under the above-described configuration, when there is no access made to the recording section, the power supply is disconnected not only to the recording section but also to a constituent part used for making access to the recording section. Thus the advantage of low-power operation is further enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20050041060
Abstract: A suction recovery method of an ink jet recording apparatus which can realize a suction operation in which suction recovery performance can be improved without enlarging a size of apparatus and a number of discharge ports can be held in a good state is provided. When a negative pressure is generated in a cap which closes discharge ports of a recording head and ink is sucked from the discharge ports, the ink is sucked by a first suction step of sucking at a first target negative pressure of a relatively low pressure which is sufficient to allow the ink which is not suitable for recording to flow from the discharge ports, and a second suction step of sucking at a second target negative pressure of a relatively high pressure necessary for sucking bubbles in the discharge ports (particularly, near the discharge ports) at a stretch.

  • Patent number: 6702469
Abstract: The present invention relates to an resin molded article, which is molded, using at least a first resin material and a second resin material having substantially no compatibility with one another, by an insert molding or a two-color molding to be in a state where a first member and a second member are incorporated. A clearance is produced between the first member and the second member.

  • Publication number: 20040036812
Abstract: A remote operation system includes a server and a client. In the server, a video-audio data conversion-into-common-format section converts data in a format unique to application software into data in a common format. A video-audio distributing section outputs audio-accompanying video data and moving-picture area data from the data in the common format. A section, which processes the transmission of the data of audio-accompanying moving-picture, adds a synchronizing data to video data and audio data, thereby obtaining a data stream. A video-audio data converting section outputs data including the moving-picture area data, operation-related audio display data. A remote control section outputs this data and the data stream. The client controls the application software of the server in response to an operation related to the video and the audio obtained from those data.

  • Patent number: 6551079
Abstract: When a piston unit and a valve unit employed in a recording head of an ink-jet recording apparatus were manufactured by a conventional method, comprising parts for these unit were separately formed and assembled, which required considerable man-hours for the assembly and measures to prevent contamination by foreign particles during the assembly. The present invention is carried out to solve these problems and provides units at less expensive cost. In order to attain above-mentioned objectives the units are formed out of mutually insoluble materials with other parts by an insert molding or a multi-color molding. By employing forming materials with different molding shrinkage rate, desired gas-tightness of the units are attained by keeping moving performances of the units almost intact. In addition a rubber or an elastomer is employed as a material for a part which requires a gas-tightness and flexibility.

  • Patent number: 4649710
Abstract: In a method of operating an air conditioner for supplying an air from the air conditioner to the inside of a chamber, the temperature of the air supplied to the inside of the chamber upon starting the operation of the air conditioner is increased to an aimed temperature while maintaining the supplied air temperature higher than the temperature at the surfaces of the inner wall of the chamber and/or the equipments installed therein but lower than the temperature the dew point for which is lower than the surface temperature, whereby the moistures contained in the air supplied from the air conditioner is prevented from condensating to form water droplets on the inner wall of the chamber and/or the equipments installed therein. The inside of the chamber can be controlled to an aimed air-conditioned state rapidly without causing undesired dewing phenomenon even during winter or like other cold conditions.
