  • Patent number: 4860802
Abstract: A method for filling liquids includes first supplying container with a gas-generating water or water in an amount somewhat greater than a predetermined amount thereof and subsequently filling the container with a predetermined amount of an undiluted solution by injection thereof, after which the excess portion of the gas-generating water or water is removed from an upper stratum or portion of liquid in the container. Thereby, the amounts of the two liquids filled into the container correspond to the predetermined amounts. By first supplying the container with the gas-generating water or water and subsequently filling the container with the undiluted solution, the gas-generating water or water is unsusceptible to mixing with the undiluted solution. The final filled quantity of the liquid product is controlled by removing excess quantity of the first supplied gas-generating water or water, whereby the accuracy of the contents and amounts of liquids filled is improved.

  • Patent number: 4860804
Abstract: A control system controls an amount of liquid filled into a container such as a bottle, a can or the like to be a predetermined amount in a precise and reliable manner. Liquid to be filled into the container is fed through a filling nozzle approximately up to a level somewhat higher than a predetermined target level. Then surplus liquid exceeding the predetermined target level is controllably ejected through an ejection nozzle piping having one end inserted into the container and opened at the target level. The surplus filled liquid is ejected through the ejection nozzle piping by suction or by pressure. When the ejection of the surplus filled liquid through the ejection nozzle piping begins, the pressure in the ejection nozzle piping changes from an initial valve. The end of ejection of the surplus filled liquid is detected by a pressure sensor disposed in the ejection nozzle piping.

  • Patent number: 4856563
Abstract: A predetermined amount of liquid is to be filled into a container. The weight of liquid contained within a metering container is measured by a balance and a filling control valve provided at an outlet of the metering container is controlled in response to a signal issued from the weighing balance. Thereby a predetermined amount of the liquid can be filled from the metering container into the container. A control unit opens and closes the filling control valve and a feed control valve connected to a liquid feed source in response to a signal issued from the weighing balance. An inlet of the metering container is connected via a flexible pipe to an outlet of the feed control valve, and an outlet of the metering container is connected via a flexible pipe to an inlet of the filling control valve.

  • Patent number: 4807673
Abstract: An apparatus for filling a container with drink liquid from a pressurized liquid-storage tank through a filling valve includes an auxiliary tank releasable to the air and provided between the liquid-storage tank and the filling valve. The auxiliary tank is communicated with the liquid-storage tank and the filling valve. After reducing the pressure in the auxiliary tank to atmospheric pressure by opening an air releasing valve installed in the auxiliary tank, drink liquid, which was supplied from the liquid-storage tank to the auxiliary tank in advance, is supplied from the auxiliary tank to the container via the filling valve.
