  • Patent number: 9989936
Abstract: A transport control system divides a series of data-processing operations into mutually independent processes, and causes the process execution units to execute the respective processes. The data input or output by each process execution unit is stored in the data storage separate from the process execution unit, and transfer of the data between the respective process execution units is performed via the data storage instead of being performed directly between the process execution units. By separating the processes from each other and also separating the processes from the data in this manner, without affecting process execution units other than a process execution unit to be changed and the data storage, the process execution unit to be changed can be changed to a different process execution unit.

  • Patent number: 9836050
Abstract: In a guided vehicle system, articles are transported between load ports by a plurality of guided vehicles traveling with articles carried thereon along a predetermined traveling route. A guided vehicle system controller communicates with a superordinate controller and guided vehicles, and creates traveling schedules representing positions and times at which the guided vehicles travel, disregarding interferences with other guided vehicles. For both newly created traveling schedules and traveling schedules from which interferences have been eliminated, interferences between the guided vehicles are detected, and the traveling schedules of the guided vehicles is modified so as to eliminate the detected interferences. The traveling schedules from which interferences have been eliminated interferences is stored. Also, the positions of the guided vehicles are stored based on data received from the guided vehicles, and the traveling schedules is modified.

  • Patent number: 9811090
Abstract: A traveling schedule of a guided vehicle is generated for use in a guided vehicle system for transporting articles between load ports by a plurality of guided vehicles traveling with articles carried thereon along a predetermined traveling route. A traveling schedule is created separately for each guided vehicle, disregarding interferences with other guided vehicles, the traveling schedules including a string of velocity control points representing positions and times at which guided vehicles accelerate or decelerate on the traveling route. For both newly created traveling schedules and traveling schedules from which interferences have been eliminated, interferences between the guided vehicles are detected from relative positions between the guided vehicles at the velocity control points. The traveling schedules of following guided vehicles are modified to eliminate the detected interferences, and the schedules are stored.

  • Patent number: 5720988
Abstract: A slide bottom dead center position compensating device comprises an angle sensor for detecting a crank angle, a contact sensor for detecting contact between stoppers on molds or, instead of the contact sensor, a position sensor for detecting that a slide has reached a preset control position near the bottom dead center of the slide, a controller, a setting unit for setting a control condition for the slide bottom dead center position, and a bottom dead center compensating unit. The controller determines a crankshaft rotational angle during the contact between the stoppers or a crankshaft rotational angle under a condition of the slide descending from the control position, calculates a slide compensation amount necessary for making the determined crankshaft rotational angle equal to a control rotational angle preset by the setting unit, and compensates the bottom dead center position of the slide through a bottom dead center compensating unit in accordance with the calculated slide compensation amount.
