  • Patent number: 11519372
Abstract: A metering valve supplies fuel to and block fuel from a pressurizing chamber by moving a valve body by switching between energization and de-energization of an electromagnetic unit. An energization control unit performs a valve closing control and a valve opening control to reduce operating sound in one opening and closing period in which the valve body opens and closes. A time control unit controls, on determination that the energizing period of the electromagnetic unit exceeds the upper limit value, a moving speed of the valve body when the valve body moves to a valve closing side, such that the energization period of the electromagnetic unit in the one opening and closing period does not exceed the upper limit value, thereby to cause the energization control unit to perform both the valve closing control and the valve opening control in the one opening and closing period.

  • Patent number: 11384710
Abstract: A control device is included in a fuel injection system. The fuel injection system includes a low pressure pump, a high pressure pump, an accumulator, a fuel injection valve, a relief valve, and a return pipe. The high pressure pump increases a pressure of a fuel discharged from the low pressure pump and discharges high pressure fuel. The accumulator stores the high pressure fuel discharged from the high pressure pump. The relief valve is provided in a high pressure portion provided downstream from the high pressure pump and opens when a high pressure abnormality occurs in the high pressure portion. The return pipe returns the high pressure fuel in the high pressure portion to a low pressure portion provided downstream from the low pressure pump by the relief valve opening.

  • Patent number: 7972072
Abstract: To prevent faint writing or writing failure from occurring during a writing operation due to back shock and to reduce shock sound by using a simple structure, a pressure contact member protrudes from one surface or both surfaces on the side of a shaft tube and a knock body so as to come into sliding contact with each other, parts on the side of the shaft tube and the knock body being opposed to each other in a radial direction. Accordingly, even when the part on the side of the knock body retreats with respect to the part on the side of the shaft tube in terms of a releasing operation, a retreat speed of an ink tank becomes slow due to a friction resistance of the pressure contact member, and thus back shock remarkably reduces. As a result, ink does not flow to the ink tank in a reverse direction due to air introduced from a writing tip portion, and shock sound generated when the retreating ink tank returns to a normal position reduces.

  • Patent number: 7762126
Abstract: A leakage diagnosis apparatus is applied to a purge apparatus of an internal combustion engine. The purge apparatus includes a canister accommodating an adsorbent for temporarily absorbing fuel vapor produced in a fuel tank. The fuel vapor is desorbed from the adsorbent and purged into an intake passage of the internal combustion engine. A diagnosis unit performs a leakage diagnosis to detect leakage in the purge apparatus. A state measurement unit measures a fuel vapor state of mixture containing the fuel vapor, which is desorbed from the adsorbent. A command unit commands the diagnosis unit to perform the leakage diagnosis at a predetermined time. An evaluating unit evaluates the leakage diagnosis to be performed in an appropriate state on the basis of a change between the fuel vapor state before the leakage diagnosis and the fuel vapor state after the leakage diagnosis.
