    Abstract: Provided is an electronic tag which has both an antitheft function and a merchandise control function, can reduce trouble of attaching the tag on a body whereupon the tag is to be attached, and furthermore, is thin and low-cost. The electronic tag includes a noncontact IC tag (3), which includes an IC chip (1) having individual identifying information and a transmitting/receiving antenna (2). The electronic tag is also provided with a magnetic tag (4). The noncontact IC tag (3) and a magnetic tag (4) are placed one over another by having an insulating layer composed of an adhesive layer (5) at least partially in between.
