  • Patent number: 10489666
Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to increase resolution of a part required for sensing while achieving a wide view angle. An imaging device according to the present disclosure includes an image sensor and an optical system. An imaging surface of the image sensor includes a first region and a second region different from the first region. The optical system forms a subject image on the imaging surface so as to cause resolution of an image in the first region to be higher than resolution of an image in the second region. The first region is arranged so as to include a region where an image of a person's face is formed on the imaging surface.

  • Patent number: 10360795
Abstract: A speed limit violation control system of the present disclosure includes: imaging units (320, 330) which image a running vehicle; recorder (420) that records one of videos imaged by the imaging units (320, 330); and controller (360) that calculates a speed of the vehicle based on the videos of imaging units (320, 330) and determines a starting point and an ending point of the one of the videos, which is to be recorded in recorder (420), based on the calculated speed.

  • Patent number: 6102642
Abstract: A drilling tapping screw includes a head engageable with rotary fastening tool, and a shank extending downward from the head and having a lower end having with a drilling tip, including a tapping and fastening thread defined from the end face thereof to the head. The head includes a pointed projection, an engaging portion engageable with the rotary fastening tool, and a collar. The pointed projection consists of a first tapered portion with a conical top end, a shaft with a fixed outer diameter, and a second tapered portion formed in the wake of the latter. Frame members made of steel are first firmly fastened by the screw, and joined to a wallboard, so that all the head portions except the collar stab the wallboard by striking with a hammer the site where the head is positioned. This temporarily locks the wallboard and prevent any warping of the site where the head is positioned in the wallboard.

  • Patent number: 6004085
Abstract: A self-drilling anchor having a self-drilling function includes a body and a pin. The body includes a head and a shank extending from the head downward. The head is of a shape similar to the head of a hexagonal bolt such that the head may engage with the rotary member of an electric rotary tool. The shank is in the form of a column having a constant outer diameter, having helical grooves formed on its outer periphery. The body includes in its core an opening portion with a constant inner diameter extending from the upper end toward the top end. A slit is formed on the top end portion of the shank to extend from its tip to the opening portion so as to divide the top end portion into two. The slit is engaged with the drilling edge to hold it. Completion of a self-drilling anchor is achieved by fitting the pin into the opening portion of the body.

  • Patent number: 4793220
Abstract: A method of making the drill-shaped cutting tool and its thread rolling die by which the workpiece such as the wire rod is rolled. The thread rolling die has a majority of uneven parts for forming the drill part formed by an electric discharge. The electrode for electric discharge machining is equipped with a pair to undergo the electric discharge and is formed to be approximately drill-shaped by forming the groove like uneven parts at least on the approximately cylindrical body possessing the diameter approximately equal to that of the drill part of the cutting tool to be made, and is then rotated and moved in parallel with the thread rolling die.

  • Patent number: 4655073
Abstract: A self-tapping screw which is rolled in such a way that a plurality of cutting screw threads performing a cutting function are provided on the top end side of a shank of a screw, whereas the screw thread performing the fastening function is provided on the base end of the shank thereof. A line formed by tracing the boundary between the resistance flank of the cutting screw thread and the shank makes a gradual and more abrupt advance toward the top end direction of the screw in comparison with the line formed by combining the tops of cutting screw threads and relieving is applied to the resistance flank of the cutting thread. The turning torque necessary for cutting the screw is thus smaller. The disclosure is secondly directed to a thread rolling die for making the above self-tapping screw.
