  • Patent number: 5313050
Abstract: A cash managing system comprises a plurality of automatic teller machines for receiving and dispensing cash from and to a customer, a cash arrangement device for arranging cash to be handled in the teller machines, and a plurality of loading safes. Each loading safe is designed to be selectively mounted in a desired one of the teller machines and the cash arrangement device, and transfers cash between the teller machine and the cash arrangement device. The cash arrangement device includes a data memory for storing cash data with respect to each teller machine. The cash data includes denominations and the amount of cash to be loaded in each teller machine. When a loading safe is mounted in a mount section of the cash arrangement device, a transfer mechanism of the device transfers cash, having the denomination and amount stored in the memory means, to the mounted loading safe.

  • Patent number: 4971310
Abstract: A paper sheet takeout apparatus has an eccentric roller rotatably supported and placed against one side of a stack of paper sheets. The roller feeds the paper sheets one-by-one. The stacked paper sheets are urged toward the eccentric roller by a backup member. The back up member is urged toward the stacked paper sheets by a base member. There is provided an absorbing member between the backup member and the base member. During the takeout operation, the backup member vibrates due to the eccentric rotation of the eccentric roller. With the absorbing member, such as a coil spring between the backup member and the base member, vibrations are absorbed so as to continuously take sheets out one-by-one.

  • Patent number: 4856768
Abstract: A separating device for a sheet collection apparatus including support arms for interrupting the passage of sheets between the obverse and reverse convey path outlets and the collecting portion of the sheet collection device after a designated number of sheets have entered the collection device. The separating arms are individually movable for interacting and supporting conveyed sheets for a predetermined period of time while the sheets in the collection device are being bundled. The support arms rotate from a neutral position to a primary support position between the obverse and reverse convey path outlets and the collection device. The support arms also rotate to a secondary support position at specified intervals for facilitating the passage of sheets from the obverse and reverse convey path outlets on to the separating device.
