  • Publication number: 20130088076
Abstract: An automotive hydraulic brake system is provided which exhibits an excellent pressure reduction performance to a low ? road while restraining an intake resistance of a fluid pump. For providing the hydraulic brake system, a gate-in valve is connected to an intake passage that connects a master cylinder to an intake side of the fluid pump. The gate-in valve selectively opens and closes the intake passage in accordance with a mutual relation between a master cylinder pressure and a pressure produced at an intake side of the fluid pump.

  • Publication number: 20130082514
Abstract: With use of electric power supplied from a vehicle power source, an electric motor is controlled based on a movement amount of an input rod by a master-pressure control device. A primary piston is thrust through an intermediation of a hall-screw mechanism to generate a brake fluid pressure in a master cylinder. The brake fluid pressure generated by the master cylinder is fed-back by an input piston through an intermediation of the input rod to a brake pedal. When system end conditions such as the OFF state of the ignition switch are satisfied, the master-pressure control device executes power-supply interruption control to interrupt the vehicle power source and supply necessary electric power from an auxiliary power source, to thereby continue brake control with the electric power stored in the auxiliary power source.

  • Publication number: 20130075205
Abstract: The present invention provides a disk brake in which the respective components are arranged in such a manner that a distance between a central axis of a first reduction gear for transmitting a rotation of a motor to a cylinder portion side while slowing down the rotation, and a central axis of a cylinder portion is longer than a distance between a rotational axis of the motor and a central axis of the cylinder portion.

  • Publication number: 20130074341
Abstract: When manufacturing a disk valve having a ring-shaped elastic seal member fixed to one side thereof for use in a cylinder type hydraulic shock absorber, a disk valve blanked from a plate material is set on a bottom of a lower mold member that is curved to be convex on one side. Mold clamping is performed to form a cavity by a cylindrical mold part and to press the disk valve with a press part to deform the disk valve into a shape that is convex on one side. In this state, a rubber material is filled into the cavity through a passage and vulcanized and cured to mold and fix an elastic seal member to the disk valve. At this time, the disk valve is deformed in a direction in which the curvature reduces by shrinkage of the rubber material. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce variations in flatness of the disk valve and hence possible to obtain stable damping force characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20130079988
Abstract: A vehicle motion control apparatus, which is configured to be used with a vehicle including a brake force control unit capable of generating a brake force during a steering operation of the vehicle, includes a plurality of force generation apparatuses disposed between a vehicle body of the vehicle and a plurality of axles, each of which is capable of generating an adjustable force between the vehicle body and each wheel of the vehicle, a force adjustment unit configured to adjust the force of each of the force generation apparatuses, and a target pitch state calculation unit configured to calculate a target pitch state from a state in which the vehicle body turns. The force adjustment unit adjusts the force of each of the force generation apparatuses so that a pitch state of the vehicle body approaches the target pitch state calculated by the target pitch state calculation unit.
