Abstract: An automatic brightness limiter circuit is disclosed in which a separate digital signal display from a personal computer is superimposed on a television broadcast screen and displayed simultaneously with a video broadcast signal. The beam current of the cathode ray tube is detected and if found to exceed a prescribed value, feedback is applied only to the video amplifier circuit amplifying the video signal. Feedback is not applied to the amplifier circuit of the digital signal display. The amplifier of this digital signal display is arranged so that independent limiting action is carried out corresponding to the amplitude of the digital signal.

Abstract: An automotive abnormality forecasting and warning method and system for issuing a voice and visual alarm when a signal representing the condition of an automotive inspection item exceeds a predetermined value, which comprise steps of calculating the cooling water temperature change rate in variable cycles, determining a calculation cycle corresponding to the detected water temperature and the calculated change rate from a memory storing the cooling water temperature, water-temperature-change rate and calculation cycle in a predetermined relation, judging whether the detected water temperature and the calculated change rate are in a predetermined water overheat region, and issuing a voice alarm on an overheating trend in response to more than a predetermined number of the judging operations.

Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner control method and apparatus for automatically controlling the air conditioning of the compartment of a vehicle in accordance with a predetermined automatic control pattern, uses a selector for selecting a desired air conditioning condition. In response to the command signal from the selector, changeover from the control parameters, such as, air flow rate and supply air temperature for an automatic control mode to the selected control parameters for a selected air conditioning mode is effected, thus making it possible to selectively control the air conditioning of the vehicle compartment in accordance with a predetermined automatic control mode and a selected air conditioning mode.
