Patent number: 5754908Abstract: A sheet film pack has a pack housing for receiving a plurality of sheet film units in a stack, and a lid for closing an opening of the pack housing, through which a topmost sheet film unit of the stack is placed in an exposure position. The exposure position is defined by an exposure frame of a pack holder which holds the sheet film pack and is attached to a camera. A film recovery mouth for recovering exposed sheet films one after another is formed in a trailing end of the pack housing, and a cap for closing the film recovery mouth and holding the lid in the closed position is removably attached to the pack housing. The lid is guided along guide rails which are formed on lateral sides of the pack housing to slidably hold lateral edges of the lid. The guide rails extend beyond the film recovery mouth such that the trailing ends of the guide rails are placed inside the cap when the cap is attached to the pack housing.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 1997Date of Patent: May 19, 1998Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Taro Okutsu, Yasuhiko Kitamura, Hitoshi Komiyama, Katsumasa Okada, Hiromasa Nagai, Yoshio Hara

Patent number: 5737660Abstract: A sheet film pack has a pack housing containing a plurality of sheet film units in a stack therein, a lid slidable relative to the pack housing to open or close an open top of the pack housing, and a plate spring mounted on an inner bottom surface of the pack housing to urge the stack of sheet film units toward the open top. Each sheet film unit consists of a sheet of photographic film and a plastic film sheath backing and fringing the sheet film. The plate spring has a pair of arched arms which extend parallel to each other along side zones of a bottom one of the sheet film units, such that peak areas of the arms contact the bottom sheet film unit at positions within 15 mm from side edges of the sheet film unit.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 1996Date of Patent: April 7, 1998Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Taro Okutsu, Hitoshi Komiyama, Katsumasa Okada

Patent number: 5223381Abstract: A photographic film package including a film unit and a light-shielding envelope for enclosing the film unit. The film unit has a photographic film sheet, first and second carrier sheets attached to opposite ends of the photographic film sheet, and a light-locking clip. The light-locking clip is attached to the first carrier sheet by caulking, and has a pair of waved clamping portions. The photographic film sheet is enclosed light-tightly in the light-shielding envelope when the clamping portions clamp an open end of the light-shielding envelope. The second carrier sheet is formed in its leading end portion with an opening extending transversely to the second carrier sheet, so that the inward-facing surfaces of the light-shielding envelope are brought into tight contact with each other through the opening when the light-shielding envelop is grasped at a region overlying the opening.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1991Date of Patent: June 29, 1993Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshio Hara, Masafumi Fukugawa, Katsumasa Okada, Hitoshi Komiyama
