  • Patent number: 11961345
Abstract: A vehicle (20) transmits an LF command (Wa), an electronic key (30) transmits, to the vehicle (20), an RF command responsive to the LF command (Wa), the vehicle (20) transmits, to the electronic key (30), an LF command (Wb) having a longer packet length than the LF command (Wa), and the electronic key (30) transmits, to the vehicle (20), an RF command responsive to the LF command (Wb) on the basis of the electric field strength of an LF-RSSI burst of a part of the LF command (Wb), thus turning on an interior light (501).

  • Publication number: 20240017697
Abstract: A vehicle and an electronic key perform wireless communication conforming to Bluetooth using at least a first electromagnetic wave of a first wavelength, estimate a second distance based on at least electric field strength and/or electromagnetic wave arrival time of the first electromagnetic wave of the first wavelength, and do not perform distance estimation based on at least a phase difference between a second electromagnetic wave of a second wavelength and a third electromagnetic wave of a third wavelength until a condition that the estimated second distance is smaller than a second distance threshold and a change in the estimated second distance is greater than a predetermined change is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20230294635
Abstract: In digital wireless communication performed between a vehicle and an electronic key terminal, the electronic key terminal and the vehicle periodically perform advertising transmission at a first time interval, periodically perform, at a second time interval, verification communication of confirming whether authentication of the electronic key terminal is established after the advertising transmission, periodically perform, at a third time interval, periodic communication performed after the authentication is established in the verification communication, and set the third time interval of the periodic communication to be longer than the second time interval of the verification communication. Accordingly, the responsiveness of the communication between the electronic key terminal and the vehicle can be improved. In addition, the first time interval of the advertising transmission is set to be longer than the second time interval of the verification communication.
